Ended up there late after work craving fried chicken. Expected something a bit greasy especially at the hour. Instead i had fresh fried chicken made for me even though it was near closing. The skin was crisp and well seasoned and the meat was properly tender. The deal i got was great and frankly the staff was wonderful and helpful. Seasoned fries are great too. If i have any issues its that the menu was apparently a bit out of date.

I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about this place! Their Philly cheesesteak has been my go-to but I just tried their wings and am thrilled! The food here has been delicious every time I have gone. Not only is the food amazing but the customer service is great! It’s so hard to find that combo and I definitely did with Golden’s Fish and Chicken. 10/10 recommend!!! My favorite go-to place!

This was our first time trying this place. I had the chicken tenders, and my wife had the tilapia sandwich. The chicken tenders and the fish were excellent. The french fries are really good. The fried okra is good too. We will be going back to try other things.

After two disappointing ventures to a similar establishment a friend suggested Goldens. Will never go back to the other place. Decent sized wings (when the other place looked like pigeon wings ever since the pandemic), crispy, and they always put lots of lemon pepper on it!!! So good!

On 03/17/23 I traveled from the NE side of town, there are closer Fish restaurants nearby, because of the previous good service & food I received prior. I looked online on there website & saw the 15 piece fish meal for $24.99, when I placed my order for this I was told it was $32.69, I asked why, and was told online is not the correct price. I still ordered since I traveled so far, however, when I got home, I didn’t have any fries, which really disappointed and ruined my whole meal, and the fish this time, wasn’t very good, I ate a few pieces & threw the rest in in the trash, I did call and expressed how disappointed I was, and was offered 2 large fries, but it was too late, and I expressed how I don’t live close by, and that I come there for the service, which wasn’t very good this time, they took my information & told me come into get my 2 free fries, but I don’t think anyone would remember me, and I’m not going to explain the reason again ,needless to say, I won’t be returning to this establishment.
