The lunch deal is a great value. The orange chicken was fairly bland but the chicken itself was good. Great getting fried rice with the meal. The governor’s chicken which we did not order would likely be great if you want a spicyer meal with lots of flavor. The waiter and manager did a great job bringing out some spicy toppings with made it way better. Awesome that the lunch special includes the soup which was very hot!

Excellent place! You can tell they put their heart and soul into the food here. Server was very warm, welcoming and was delighted to tell me about their many vegan options. Y’all Boisians are lucky to have this place!

Vegan Chinese Food! This place is a great option for vegans and vegitarians who want a Chinese option. Almost the entire menu can be made vegan, or they have a vegan substitute. Food was good (most of our party rated it 7 out of 10) but the real value is the breath of their vegan options. Restraunt is pretty small, and dated but the wait staff was awesome, that’s why I rated 4 out of five. They handled our party of 10 without any problems and got the vegan and non-vegan options all correct, nice job! I would not go out deliberately to this place again, but if I was in the neighborhood, I would stop by.

The staff is attentive and charming! My food came out fast a was piping hot, smelling delicious. I had the Broccoli Beef, the flavors were mouth watering. I was grateful for the entire experience!

I heard about the vegan options and wanted to try it and I’m so glad I did! The staff was so helpful and kind and helped us choose what to get. We had the mandarin spicy tofu, broccoli beef (beef replaced with tofu), vegan crab rangoons, and vegetable fried rice. I think my favorite was the mandarin spicy tofu– it was one of the best vegan dishes I’ve had. It was all so delicious and filling that I will definitely be coming back <3

The food is very fresh! No squishy broccoli or mushy noodles. Rice is perfect. Housemade chili paste is fantastic. I rate all Chinese restaurants by their broccoli beef plates. Theirs is wonderful. The crab rangoon was a hit – very generous with the filling.

First impressions – smaller, older facility. The location can be a challenge to get in/out of based on traffic. They do deliver and there is a drive- thru.

I ordered two Dinner A for a friend and I on Wednesday night. The egg rolls and mandarin chicken were very good as usual. The chicken chow mein was scorched and tasted like it. The pork fried rice was underdone. I’ve been coming to Golden Wok for 20+ years and until Wednesday night, I’ve never been disappointed with the food.
