Me and my boyfriend both loved this place until it gave us food poisoning. we got take out from here last night and all day we have been in the bathroom throwing up and having downstairs issues. The staff is always friendly. service is fast. we live just a couple blocks away so we would go frequently. it’s really unfortunate what happened because we really enjoyed golden wok until this incident.

The Golden Wok is not my favorite restaurant when I’m craving Chinese food but it is on my side of Lincoln so it’s convenient because it’s on the way home. The food is decent but the crab Rangoon is outstanding! It contains 8 peices is never over cooked and super hot when you get them!

I had rated this 5 stars, as it’s always been my favorite Chinese in town. Today was horrible. Ordered my meal with lo mein instead of rice. Got rice anyways and it’s mushy with burnt parts throughout it. The spring rolls are always so on point but today the inside was pure mush and had an odd aftertaste so we just threw away. Hours vary, sometimes they’re closed mon, tue, wed…you never know if they’ll be open. Makes me sad. It really has always been my favorite.

Our favorite Chinese place for almost 20 years now, I always recommend Golden Wok. The staff is always very friendly to me and the food is always good. I took a star off because the building is looking quite rundown and it’s the kind of place where I just imagine I’m in a foreign country and choose to ignore the conditions where my food is being prepped. Do this and you will enjoy the experience. Tsos chicken and Sweet and Sour chicken are my go to’s. They also have excellent egg rolls with a thinner “spring roll like” outer shell as opposed to the typical thick ones you find everywhere else in town. The hot and sour soup is also a step above most other places in Lincoln.

Absolutely disgusting. I used to order here all the time. Moved away for 10 years now I have ordered 3 times this last few months. Can’t even eat half of it. Freezer burnt meat,no flavor. I don’t know what happened but I won’t ever eat here again

Not only was my food dry, I found nats in my food wrappings. I called and the person told me I was being ridiculous the whole time as well as asking for my home address for him to check it out. Not at all worth $18, the tip I gave, nor worth a next purchase.

Looks a little weary on the outside. Went through drive through for pot stickers and garlic chicken. Food was hot, tasty and quick. Well priced and generous portion. Did not have to search to find the chicken in the dish. Employee at drive through was pleasant. I plan to try some of their other dishes.
