The friendly staff offer outstanding service. We ordered at the last minute, since Google had their hours wrong. We were able to pick up our food real quick and have a nice chat. I’m happy to find a Golden Wok reasonably closeby now that I’m further from Greensboro.

Love their food. I’ve lived in the area for 9 years and they have been amazing !!! The white rice is always fresh. The shrimp cooked to perfection. The veggies crispy yet tender, the chicken juicy and never over done, As well as great prices !!! Be bold and try anything their really good ☺️

My order was incorrect and when I informed the staff, the lady was upset when they were at fault. I ordered honey chicken wings and they gave me chicken that was not wings! I ordered shrimp fried rice and they gave me tons of onions as if it was shrimp. Bad service and food. Taking my hard earned money somewhere else.

I used to love this place but since the pandemic she has raised her prices tremendously. I always order the salt and pepper shrimp because is the ONLY place that makes this dish. It was $10. Now it’s $15 same serving size same amount of shrimp. I always call ahead and she always says 20 minutes. My last visit I waited an hour. I know that she waited until I arrived to start my ordered. I would not recommend if you want something fast. The wait times are insane and the price for Chinese is almost as much as a Steakhouse.

The house fried rice was off the chain. Hot, fresh mad flavor. Even microwaved later it was still mad good. Dumpling fresh. Lemon chicken yuck. I expected a crunchy texture. Too lemonie. I will go back for other dishes like beef n broccoli etc…

A second visit to the Golden Wok convinced me that it is probably one of the best authentic food restaurant in the area. I ordered a chicken dish with vegetables and boy, was it deliciously good!!!! The single portion size was ample enough for two people. Not only did they provide good food, but excellent service as well.

The only thing that’s keeping me from giving this thing a five is the fact that the crab wontons were a little bit stale. Aside from that I ordered teriyaki chicken sticks, egg drop soup, chicken and broccoli, and a sesame chicken combination with fried rice. My kids loved it all and they can be really hard to please. There’s not a lot of good places to choose from in the north Winston area even though there are a ton of Chinese food places. I will definitely be stopping by again

Ordered sesame chicken with white rice. One star bc the white rice was good- sticky but not gummy and a second star bc the lady was nice. Chicken was awful. It tasted like what I imagine an over cooked rat coated in heated jar sauce would taste like. The little bit of chicken in each bite was dry, tough, chewy, inedible and a grayish brown color. Basically I paid $8 for rice. Don’t recommend.
