Cute and quiet place for Chinese food. We had great service and our drinks were quickly refilled. Our food came out quickly and our leftovers were even packed for us. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a less crowded place for dinner.

No one was inside when I had picked up my order around 6pm on a Saturday. There’s a reason no one was eating there. Whenever I drive by down Baseline, the parking lot is always empty looking. My fried rice was gross. It is a simple dish and should easily be edible. Crab puffs and egg rolls were very dark brown because they were burnt. My boyfriend is picky when it comes to curry, but he has very pleased with the curry here! The service was quick & pleasant. Portions are huge here! We were blown away by that. Not bad pricing either. The owner was really kind & I loved how personal she was in her dialogue shown on the back of the menu. It shows me how much she cares for a good presentation of her business & the food. Definitely recommending to family and friends.

Ate here with a large group of friends and it was really great food around the whole table. The location isn’t the best and it was pretty hot inside the restaurant (to be fair it was during a heat wave). But the food was great and the servers were very nice.

There are Chinese restaurants on almost every corner in the East Valley, and Golden Valley is easily my favorite and go-to for Chinese food. We always do take-out and the food is ready quickly. They provide very generous portion sizes- the general chicken is always enough for two meals. The staff is very friendly and we love having them in our neighborhood!

We ordered shrimp with snow peas and beef with broccoli there is literally four tiny little shrimp and the rest was mixed vegetables and absolutely no flavor at all. The beef and broccoli did have beef in it however again absolutely no flavor at all. I’ve eaten a lot of different Chinese restaurants and this is by far the worst the food is plain and simply gross.

My only complaint is that I haven’t tried this place sooner! I live about a mile away from Golden Valley and have been meaning to give it a try for several months now, but today I finally have it a shot and I couldn’t be happier! Everything about my experience was exceptional! The gentleman who helped me over the phone and when I went to pick up was very kind and friendly, even behind the mask, you knew he was smiling! The portion sizes are remarkable for the price and absolutely delicious! I got the lunch order of the Beef and Broccoli, my normal favorite, and everything was cooked perfectly! The broccoli was nice and soft with just a little crunch, the beef was thinly sliced and so tender, and then the sauce was the best part!! I’m always hesitant to try this at new places because too many restaurants have their own variations of the sauce, but Golden Valley was spot on and I couldn’t get enough of it!! Just from that alone, I’m hooked now and will be coming back frequently! I also ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Vegetable Lo Mein and couldn’t believe how full the to-go box was filled with my son’s favorite noodles! Both entrees were delicious and a big hit with my very picky four year old! Thank you Golden Valley for such a satisfying lunch (and dinner tonight from all of the left overs), but also for being open for take-out during all of this COVID-19 craziness. You’ve got some new regulars!
