We stopped here as a time filler between a wedding and a reception. Wish we could have stayed longer! Fun and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered appetizers …delicious!! I would definitely recommend this place. We will go again on a day when we can stay longer!!

The culinary experience at this establishment is simply remarkable. The chicken tenders, unlike your ordinary frozen variety, are homemade and surpass expectations. They possess a delightful lightness and flakiness, setting them apart from the heavier counterparts found elsewhere. Our server, Michelle, deserves high praise for her exceptional performance. Despite the bustling atmosphere, she maintained a remarkable level of friendliness and attentiveness. It is without a doubt that we will return for another visit.

My 1st time here today…my two daughters have been there before! Today will not be my last! I had the tenders with honey mustard..they both had the Spike salad with blackened chicken and balsamic dressing! We all loved our choices! We ate at the bar which is something I have never done but it was the perfect spot that included friendly customers and Betsy the bartender/food order taker/ and social coordinator making everyone feel like home and family!! Going to lunch is great but today at the Golden Spike went above and beyond great!!

Portion of fried fish smaller than most other places,open steak sandwich the same. Food tasted good ,but when server asked about what sides we wanted,she failed to tell us some had a upcharge. We couldn’t find the sides on the menu so we could have been informed.

A step above corner bar. Bartender calls you hon and actually checks on you. A local hang out that I am sure has seen many a late, fun nights. You get the picture. Excellent lunch burger with soda for $13. Unusually clean and cheery. A homerun.

I have been here a couple of times, and this place has always been AMAZING. My all-time favorite is the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Bang Bang Shrimp. It taste soooo good! And I can’t get used to it. I have also tried their burgers, their mac and cheese fries, quesadillas, salad and more. They are the BEST. If you haven’t tried golden spike, then I tell you, you’re missing out.
