The Food is amazing and fresh and hot .. the service not so great .. No refills . No changing tables for kids she told me to go to the other side and change the poopy diaper on the table (I did) she didn’t sanitize afterwards :(, and it was literally 95 degrees inside and outside but at least outside had a breeze . Only eat there if you takeout oh and they didn’t have any fruit or dessert out we ate about ,$5 worth of food and paid $23 me and my 9 to child

Food is decent. However sanitation grade was 82% today. Also they apparently don’t use the air conditioner. Been several times and it’s usually hotter in there than outside

We drove an hour to this place because the one in Elizabethtown was shut for the day just to try it out. We went in, hardly no one in the place. Only one buffet counter open and even with hardly 5 people in the restaurant. There was hardly anything on the actual counter. I told the server “coke” and then came back telling me they were out of diet coca cola. My friend and I just put our empty plates back on the bar and just drove home in terrible disappointment. If you’re thinking about coming here because the Golden Run in Elizabethtown is closed, just don’t. Just wait for them to open the next day, this place isn’t worth the trip or the money.

Hostess at the door… there isn’t air conditioning and cokes are 7.50 ..a CAN. we said ‘thanks’ and left.

Not sure why the place name is Golden Run, but the menu says “Happy Family”, but this Chinese place is good. Takeout only due to the Coronapocalypse.

They have 2 buffet bars, but only one was set up at lunch. They had quite a few dishes with no meat. The lo mein only had noodles and a few vegetables. The moo goo gai pan only had chicken and broccoli (no other veggies). It seems like they might be trying to cut back on their costs by not having a lot of ingredients or meat dishes. They also seem to use a lot of five spice or some spice that my husband doesn’t like. It was a disappointment. As we were leaving I saw the sanitation grade was 84%.

I am surprised this place has 3.5 stars. It was the worst Chinese buffet I have ever had! It was our first time there for my Aunt’s Birthday. The food was old and you can tell that they have recooked the food that had been sitting on the buffet to make it appear fresh. I could tell by the breading on sesame chicken too. The egg rolls were hard and on the inside from being recooked. I would rather had Frozen Chinese food from the grocery store. My Mom got a migraine from the MSG in their food and my Aunt was sick and threw up all evening from the food not being hot enough and old I suspect. My Mother and my Aunt are in their mid 70’s and serving food like this is a hazard to them and first and foremost why I am writing this review.
