I was looking for a place to eat in the area on the way back from a road trip, and there weren’t many options available. Thank goodness for Golden Pine Chinese being open later than other restaurants who close early, and I’m glad I made a stop by. The restaurant was about half full, but they were still able to get our food out very quickly. The waiter brought out the wrong order initially, but I didn’t even realize until he said something! He took it back immediately without me having to ask, and they made a new one within two minutes! The food tasted great, and the service was awesome! It was a little saltier than I prefer, but I was a big fan of the flavor. Portion sizing was great too! I had enough for dinner that night… and then lunch the next day. If you happen to pass by Golden Pine Chinese on the road, you should definitely make a stop here. You won’t regret it!

Omg love!!!! Didn’t at all expect to find some good Chinese/Chinese American food on 285 We ordered the fried cheese wontons, Singapore fried rice noodle, Hunan beef, and the shrimp with lobster sauce, and we loved all of it. The Singapore rice noodle was definitely the star of the show — the curry flavor was definitely there and the chicken/shrimp were so tender!! Loved the shrimp with lobster sauce as well — shrimp was tender/not-overcooked, and the dish was packed with veggies. What impressed us a bunch too was the cost — each meat entree came with a side of rice and was all pretty much under $15 across the board and the three entrees + one appetizer+ one Thai tea came out to ~$54 dollars. Service was super friendly and the interior was cute and cozy with a gorgeous patio view. 10/10 cannot wait to come back!!!

Despite outside appearances, this Chinese restaurant features some of the best-conceived, well-crafted, and freshest dishes I have ever had in the style. What is most shattering to me is that the prices are so immensely reasonable. Anyone traveling up or down 285 should go out of their way to stop here and you will understand what I mean.

Super amazing food. Everything rom the soups, the hot tea to the entrees was prepared fresh and tasted great. The staff were kind, helpful and very polite, just phenomenal. This is now our go to restaurant for Chinese food going forward. Can’t wait to come back again!

I am a PICKY Chinese food eater since I have been to China many times. I was in the area at an Airbnb and ate here and it was delicious! ALL of my party loved their food. I got the Salt and Pepper tofu and Szechuan Broccoli and it was delicious! I would recommend stopping here for food if you are in the area. I got takeout and didn’t dine in, but it was clean and spacious. Thanks for the yummy lunch after a hard hike!

I’ve gotten takeout from Golden Pine a few times now and have enjoyed it every time. I have a really bad allergy to chicken and can’t have food from most Chinese food places because of ingredients touching or whatever, and had allergic reactions even with food that shouldn’t have chicken in it from other places. I decided to take a risk and try this place and so far no reaction so bless they’re always super sweet here as well so I love supporting a local place
