Was our first visit. Golden palace is very inviting, clean and elegant looking. We ordered won ton soup and looked great, but meat inside was bland. Our main meal was Mongolian beef which is a favorite Chinese meal for us. Although it looked very teasing and the meat cuts was big and tender, it was also bland and lacking the taste we usually find elsewhere. We also had fried rice, and all it was is soy flavored rice. Where is the egg and veggies normally with it mixed in? Strange!

The food came out quickly and was delicious I had the Dragon and phoenix. I also had the mai Thai and it tasted great I can’t wait to come back and try something new!

We have been here several times before, and it’s always great! Tonight I had the Singapore lo mein noodles – generous options of chicken, large shrimp and barbecue pork with egg and veggies in perfectly cooked noodles with a delicate sauce. Imagine what’s great about soup, but without the broth, and that’s it. Delicious! Wife had the Szechuan with tofu instead of chicken (they will sub) and was very happy with it. We also got the perfect steamed dumplings, and I ordered a chicken egg roll, which was wonderful. Paired with some warm sake, this was a very satisfying dinner! (with leftovers) We will definitely be back!

My lunch was good. My friend Susan’s was not. She ordered some ki d of curry noodle dish. It looked so dry. Asked for curry sauce.I never saw curry sauce looking like that. All Sue are was edadame. Bev had a Mango Chicken with rice that did not look appetizing.

The place was neat and clean and food was good. You can taste the variety of Chinese dishes there from different regions of country. We ordered egg drop soup, chicken egg rolls, Orange shrimp and Chicken Lo Mein. Quantity was enough and I loved the taste.

Food was okay, just isn’t the same anymore since the previous owner sold it 3 years ago. I had the cashew chicken which was very bland, just tasted like oil and soy sauce. Shrimp toast was very small portions, not anything like it used to be and not much favor either. I thought would try it again and give it another chance, but I’m determined it’s definitely not that good anymore unfortunately. Service was good though on a positive note. Sad to say I won’t be back again.
