For the love of god stop with the ginger!! Brown stew chicken should not taste like ginger chicken. Just purchased a small and the ginger is overpowering. I can’t even enjoy. As soon as I looked at it I knew it was prepared differently. I got some this past weekend and it was great! Isn’t there a standard recipe or is everyone who cooks just doing their own thing according to their taste. I am half Jamaican. I have never had brown stew chicken with ginger! It’s not even the same color as the plate I bought on Saturday. It’s hard to spend so much money on a plate of food and be so disappointed. This spot is usually on point but not today. It’s not even that I don’t like ginger because I do, but when all you taste is ginger, it’s a ginger flavored stew. Sometimes the cabbage tastes like it has ginger in it as well. Stop it! Chicken is swimming in straight up ginger gravy. I buy food from here often. I don’t expect the whole flavor profile of the meal to be completely different.

Came here after watching a YouTubers review, and quite pleased! My fiancé got the stew chicken and he loved it! There was not shards of bone (a pet peeve) and seasoning was very delicious I had the jerk chicken and a few pieces of chicken tasted dry, however the seasoning was still on point! We also had the mild and spicy beef Patty. The mild was very good, I would give that a 8/10. And the spicy I would give a 7/10, I was expecting more spice. The spice creeps up on you but it’s the bare minimum of spice. Still good though. We will be back to try the goat!

There’s two older ladies that are rude as hell! There was one lady that was super sweet and packs your plate nicely. The tall skinny man is rude too. Bad attitude. But the food is good which makes up for the unprofessionalism. I literally got into it with one of the ladies because she was upset that I asked for more plantain. It shouldn’t be a problem if i’m paying.

The food is way too expensive. I spent $32 for a SMALL meal with one piece of Salmon, a bottle of water and a Ting. The Salmon was not even fresh, it tasted like rubber smh Never again.

Save yourself and get more for your money at another location, like the one off of Old National. They overcharge for pretty much everything here. Their plates are smaller than everywhere else but are the same price, so you get less food for more money basically. Quality is decent and the customer service is so/so — some people are nice and others not so much. Asked the lady who was making my plate to not put so much gravy on my rice, she got annoyed with me and proceeded to flood my rice with gravy, I could barely even finish the rice.

Fried dumpling was dry and bland. The spinach patty was very good. The cashier was NOT rude but she wasn’t pleasant and friendly either.

NASTY! DIGUSTING! SMALLEST PORTIONS EVER! NO FLAVOR! I ordered through Uber eats and I don’t know what they have me but it def was not curry goat. They gave me 8 pieces of something that I could not eat! Everything on the plate was nasty! I will never order from this location again! Even OLD NAT location is wayyyy better than this one!

Get there early, I missed out on the ox tail. Had curry goat, rice and plantain. The service was fantastic, the beauties behind the counter were smiling, polite and friendly. If I’m ever back in the state I’ll happily return.

I understand the cost of oxtails I do but I watched the young guy who fixed my large oxtail dinner count out 5 pieces. Not to mention I had to ask him if they had anymore in the kitchen because he was scraping the bottom of the pan and coming up with just gravy. $30 later and I’m disappointed with the food as well wasn’t even hot. It may not matter to this establishment but I will never be back. Thanks for the experience . The sad part is if I were to say something I would be considered the problem and today is just not the day for it………
