Chicken patty was maybe the best I’ve had! Curry was not thick like I like, overly reliant on turmeric. Rice peas cabbage good. Overall was nice.

In a long line of quick eat restaurants, I spotted the Golden Krust, and looked up their vegetarian options. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Tofu Curry. It was a special order item, so it did take longer, but it was worth the wait. The tofu was crispy fried in a richly seasoned curry sauce. The peas and rice were very flavorful, and the vegetables were tender and delicious. Plus there were two sweet plump plantain slices on the side.

Great service and food! It was my first time there and then staff were very helpful with walking me through the food options and their personal preferences. I had the jerk chicken, my sister had the curry chicken and my dad had the tofu vegetable dish(with curry, not pictured) will come back here again!!!

My first time experiencing Golden Krust and I am thoroughly pleased! I’m EXTREMELY picky when it comes to Jamaican restaurants— if it doesn’t taste like home cooked, then I don’t want it! EVERYTHING was delicious, from the curry chicken to the rice an peas to the plantain and cabbage! Can’t wait to try the different patties next time! 10/10

Tried to order food twice and had to go somewhere else. The lady at the register has the nastiest attitude. I tried to order last summer and the only reason I got my food was because the cook was passing by and saw how unhelpful and rude she was. The second time was yesterday. I just walked out after her disrespectful and unhelpful attitude It’s almost as if she is trying to run the business into bankruptcy by getting rid of customers. Long story short, I’ll never recommend you order food from that establishment.

Visiting friends in DC and tried Golden Krust. Spent $100 on jerk chicken, patties, coco bread, ox tails yesterday. Jerk chicken was mostly white meat when I prefer dark meat, patties were dry, ox tails were just ok. The coco bread was the only thing that tasted as expected. Very disappointed. Only gave two stars because food was delivered as promised.
