The food wasn’t on the same standards as other Golden Krust that I’ve visited, the service was ok at best but the wall of plexiglass made it hard for the servers to hear our orders, added to the fact that main dishes on the menu were out.

This place is a consistent neighborhood gem. They seem to always have what I’m looking for from a Golden Krust. There hours are great. They open early enough for me to grab corn meal before work. Or a true Caribbean breakfast with all the options. All mealtimes are covered meal wise extremely well with numerous quality options. Additionally, if you need that holiday pastry like bun and cheese, hard doughbread, or the fabulous black rum cake in any size portion. Lastly, there is a Golden Krust closer to my home but this one is clearly the best one in a 10 mile radius.

I bought a few chicken patties & jerk patties no chicken in the dang patties one was dry as sand. Seafood Soup was just ok. Server had no welcoming greeting. It was like what you want. . Im never wasting my money here again. Empty patties are disgrace to the man who started the business R.I.P.

I love the selections. Normally at GK I have set items I get.. but when I go to this location I am always pleasantly surprised. Last time they had red bean with pigtail like my mom does it on Sundays in Trini..that made my week! It was just perfect!

The service is very slow. They definitely need a patty only line. I waited on line as everyone ordered their plates, I only wanted a jerk patty. Finally reach the server only to find out no jerk pattys…smh

I approach a lady standing behind the counter in front of a register with a tablet in her hand doing something on the tablet I wait a few minutes then her if she is serving. She said no, When I ask the lady a question two of her coworkers looked at me with a sassy attitude with a smug grin on their face and said something to her. The hospitality at Golden krust is very unprofessional and ghetto they talk about you right there in front of your face with other customer. I tell someone about my experience she explained to me she don’t go there anymore because she experiencing the same situation. But her family member was the person. They were talking about her with so the family member let her know exactly what they were saying about her……. They talk so much over the food that they’re serving saliva to their customers!!!

Golden Crust serves the community very well. It’s one of the top-rated Jamaican food go-tos. Almost every dish is delectable and I enjoy going there on a Friday evening to purchase takeout.

This is a relatively new store. The layout is much better than other stores I’ve been to, but the lines get long due to how complicated some orders are. The guy at the cash register was new (or incompetent) and that caused a long line. The choices were somewhat limited. I would call ahead to see what they have before heading over to the store. Try their patties.

I like this Golden crust over all others. The food always presented well and is delicious. Line moves quickly and so does the food, which is great because it’s fresh and not sitting there all day.

If you want the best tasting Jamaican food in New York City, then this is the place to go! All the 5 star reviews are well deserved. Not all golden crust locations are equal. This one is the best of the best. All your Jamaican favorites are here. Hands down the best Jamaican breakfast. Their ackee and salt fish is the truth. And the porridge. Omg! Delicious. Tasty, tasty, tasty.
