My daughter and I had a girls day and we stopped for sushi Saturday after the Little Mermaid movie. The service was great and the hot & sour soup and hornet roll was delicious! I saved half for my hubby, the roll was very filling. My daughter had the smoked salmon sashimi and the miso with a salmon roll She loved it!

I used to stop at Golden Koi on my way home from work. The food was always very good. I haven’t been there in years because I am retired and it’s not close to me. Stopped in the other day for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. They have added tables both inside and outside on a cute little patio. The food was even better than I remembered it. The seaweed salad and the three rolls we ordered were all excellent. They were fresh and reasonably priced. The young woman that served us was wonderful. She was friendly and attentive. My only complaint was the bubble tea machine was not working and I really wanted a bubble tea. Oh well, that gives me an excellent excuse to rerun sooner rather than later.

I bought a dragon roll and it was about $18. That is normal due to eel being the main part of this roll. I got barely any eel. I paid ~$18 for a shrimp tempura roll effectively. The clear soup had a weird flavor as well. I will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered several rolls, eel sushi and a couple seaweed salads. The quality has dwindled overtime at golden koi. The ell was definitely not fresh. Had a smell and texture of rotting. Not sure what has happened to your quality control.

Restaurant smelled strongly of mildew. Everything behind the counter looked dirty. I heard the fried rice I ordered go into the microwave. Wasn’t fresh. And wasn’t hot. Nearly $20 for an appetizer and a small fried rice should warrant fresh cooked food. Lady was nice though.

My wife and I tried Golden Koi because all of the places we normally consider first when thinking of sushi were closed. We were plesantly suprised. Each time we have come the fish has been fresh and has been of good quality. The service has been pleasnt and attentive. In two of the four times we have visited it has taken our sushi order quite a bit longer than expected to come out. The atmosphere I would say is good to above average.

My cousins took me here and I’m so glad they did. The sushi is really good and it’s even better if you go for happy hour to get the deals. The Dan Dan noodles were also good if your near this place I suggest you stop in and try it!
