Mom and pop Pho / Vietnamese restaurant with a ton of variety in the menu and lots of tasty dishes. My partner and I have been eating our way through the menu and have yet to hand anything we didn’t enjoy. The vermicelli noodles / bowls and pad-Thai are particularly favorites. Quick and friendly service in a clean and interesting location make for a great experience. A welcome surprise to find this type of place in a place like Oakley. Would not be out of place in a larger city. They do a fair amount of take out and delivery, though I’ve only tried eating in the restaurant.

We’ve DoorDashed quite often from here and it is ALWAYS amazing. Today, we decided to dine in for the first time. Absolutely delicious, we cannot say enough. The servers were friendly and so was the other person behind the counter. I am unsure of he was the owner. But, he was also quite happy and friendly. Please consider this restaurant as we highly recommend it. Lemongrass chicken and fried rice, pad Thai with tofu… all of it is delectable. 5

Rainy days always call for pho! Food was amazing & couldn’t get enough of it. My son’s (1 & 3) definitely enjoyed every single bite. My 3 year old even asked for one of their smoothies & it was delicious. Super cute touch with the umbrella! Portions were perfect. Can’t wait to come back for more!

So, food was not good. I had ordered a number 25. Beef short ribs with one egg and one egg roll, asked to sub the salad for extra rice, the rice with an extra side was not even equal to the portion they gave my son, whom I ordered a kids rice with three egg rolls. My ribs looks sad and thin, for the price you pay, one would think I would get a mound of food on my plate but they were serving me like the plate cost $5. Service is subpar, looking at the reviews, this place has been open for at least 8 months. Waiter has an iPad, may or may not have menu specifics but he should at least know what goes with what, no, not even another waiter when we ask about a salad for my wife. Just all in all an entirely horrible experience. I didn’t even make it into my short ribs until I said that we needed to go somewhere else. First and last time here. This place used to be a Chinese restaurant before covid so the ambiance was roughly the same and we’ve been there a few times, layout is just a bit different with the booths and tables arranged differently.

I came here a lot when they just first opened. Came back today after a few months, and what used to be a medium-sized bowl of the golden gate pho is now large for $18!!! Ingredients have changed, smaller portions for more money. If they continue to squeeze quality for quantity and increase the price, this restaurant will decline.

This place is amazing! Excellent service, friendly atmosphere and prices are great. Their menu is extensive. We enjoyed everything we had, and already had 2-3 things picked out we want to try for next time. The portions are enough for two days worth. Highly recommend they have something for everyone. And their iced Vietnamese coffee is better than anything at Starbucks
