Stopped by while traveling and overall it was a great experience. Had the vegetable spring rolls, pan fried pork gyoza, won ton soup and the Shrimp with garlic sauce, all of which were excellent. Atmosphere was a little dark for my taste but satisfactory. Would definitely eat there again. Recommend you give it a try if you are in the area.

Best Sushi around. They serve Chinese and Japanese cuisine and have recently opened a boba milk tea bar. The place is spotlessly clean offers a quiet place to enjoy get Asian food. All of there selection is fresh and hot off the pan. One of the best Asian restaurants I have ever visited.

Excellent service. We were 9 people visiting this restaurant for dinner. We ordered appetizers and our main food together. They served the order within 15 minutes. Vegetable fried rice and chicken with cauliflower are the best . The place is clean and cool. Prices are little higher as compared to other Asian restaurants, but they don’t apply service charge. You may offer Tips for the servers.

Stopped through town on way through to North Carolina. Was recommended by hotel receptionist. It was pretty good and friendly staff. fire cracker roll was great, dragon and Phoenix entre was good though the shrimp is cooked with Chinese bacon and they don’t tell you so that could be an issue if you don’t eat pork. I find it often at Chinese places though so not specific to golden garden. Appreciate hot and sour is vegetarian.

One of my favorite restaurants. The owners and the staff are very good, the food is excellent and the service is very responsive. I’m a fan of spicy Asian food and you can certainly get that here!

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Lexington VA. We’ve ordered take out from Golden Garden in the past and it was very good. Yesterday, we decided to dine in to celebrate our anniversary. It was mid-afternoon and we were seated very quickly. We ordered a pot of tea and water which came quickly and were given time to look at the menu. The entrees were reasonably priced (Sweet and sour shrimp was $13). We got the vegetable dumplings as an appetizer and ordered 3 entrees. Everything was delicious, hot and freshly made. I really enjoyed the green tea. The spicy green beans were especially good. The waitress checked in with us twice to pour more tea and to see if we needed anything. The dining room was clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good Chinese food in the Lexington area.
