The quality of food at this place was beyond me..If you could envision a place that screamed, “what can we get away with?”, Golden Corral might just be the poster child. Now, I’m not a gambling man, but honestly, I would bet on this place failing health inspection. Now even if you did like gambling, is the over-processed (probably horse meat) “bourbon street” chicken worth the lingering after taste of regret? Don’t save your time, save your soul.

The restaurant wasn’t very clean and had a weird smell when we walked in. The girl who took our $$ didn’t even thank us , or clean up after herself when she spilled the customer before us drink. They hadn’t replenished over half of the food, so we ate what we found.

We went on Thanksgiving Day and there was a line out the door. The place was so packed that the employees had brought their older children to help find tables for us to sit. The food was plentiful and very good! I had traditional fare, but there were other options as well.

I lost my appetite when I went into the restroom. The women’s restroom was disgusting. It smelled of strong urine smell.. Old strong urine smell, that seems like it has been there a while. Whoever cleans does not know how to do it. I will not be going back to this place because all I will remember is how disgusting the restrooms were.

Had not been to a Golden Corral in years, but I feel like the quality has gone downhill. Salad bar was lacking. The dressings used to taste good and homemade but now they’re just bottled premade overly sweet sticky/gluey stuff. Tomatoes were squishy, nearly bad The croutons were very stale/inedible tasted like old grease. Some of the hot food was good, some was Inedible. The peach pie was awful and stale, the crust tasted beyond disgusting like old grease. However the blueberry pie was good. It’s low quality, high volume cafeteria style food. Perfect for very hungry people who want to get really, really full on variety of foods and aren’t particularly picky. I just don’t get my money’s worth at these types of places and would rather get quality food and pay a little more. The employees were very nice and hard working.

We’ve been here multiple times its a typical American buffet, the place needs a little TLC. Food quality and selection is good and the staff are okay, sometimes they give you attitude specially the ones who works in the cashier area.

UPDATE…..Its been 3 yrs since we last went and had a horrible experience. This time was much better. Some food was cold but that’s to be expected at any buffet I think. The staff was very helpful and quick with drinks. The steak was a bit rough,but tasted ok. Mac and cheese was excellent and the fried shrimp too. Kids loved all the fresh desserts.
