The quality of the food here is okay, sadly a lot of the food is overcooked to the point where they are a bit dry, there are many options to choose for food.

So we go into the place after three months of work, one of my buddies wanted to relive child hood memories. We walk in, there was an odd smell but it could happen anywhere. We get a table, a little confused about the beverage situation but eventually got it figured out. Another buddy of mine was terrified, everything he put on his plate he couldn’t finish cause it was either discolored or the flavor was off. Every bite of food he got was a chore for him, they even messed up the broccoli! How is that even possible? My last buddy, I’m not too sure his foot hurt and i think he got straight up food poisoning so I wont comment too much on that except dont eat the pizza! My first buddy he was so disappointed he never really got to relive that memory as a child, heart broken we walked to Walmart to cheer him up. I got the chicken and baby tomatoes just to play it safe and the dessert was okay too 7.5 out of 10 would not eat at that location again, although the service was decent. Thank you for taking the time to read my review i hope you found that enlightening have a good rest of your day.

And the waiter said ” just so you know to took the liberty of clearing your plates for you” …….like as a customer I’m supposed to clear my own plate? And tip you ……food had been hard from.sitting to long and no one was working for the cotton candy machine got fudge pump was broken ….what Spanish people can’t cook enchiladas in Texas?

A mariachi band comes through while you are eating. You can’t visit with the people you are with because they are too loud. Not an enjoyable dining experience.

Came here on the last day of being on a deployment down here in the RGV for 3 months with 3 of my friends. First off the steak….thing I ate was bad, tasted awful and was dry. I tried a couple other foods just to see what’s good, none of it was good besides the Mac and cheese being decent and the popcorn shrimp. I tried the pizza because, it’s just pizza, it can’t be that bad. I was wrong, it smelled like a wet dog and tasted like cardboard that was sat on by someone with swamp booty. None of the foods to choose from looked very appealing, everything seemed either really dry or smothered in oil. My other buddy got some chicken tenders, Cajun pasta, and some veggies and the look of disappointment on his face when he tried it was hilarious. The chicken was drier than the sand in Iraq, the Cajun pasta had enough oil on it I’m surprised we weren’t ordered to attack Golden Corral for it, and somehow the broccoli was bad, idk how that’s possible. My other friend that decided it’d be a good idea to come here was heartbroken because it was so good when he went to Golden Corral as a kid. I was also a bit disappointed because I’m originally from the southeast, and Golden Corral is known as a top tier buffet over there, which it is. We are not picky eaters, we’re all soldiers who eat DFAC food on base, we’ve had bad food more times than I can count, but this was just downright horrible. I wish I asked about a military discount because that was not worth $17.23. There’s A LOT more I could say about this place but I don’t feel like typing anymore. The employees were really nice though
