Had a blast here. I haven’t been Golden Corral since my best friend passed away years ago. This was the last place he worked at and it pained me to be without him. The server/waitress was awesome. The cooks were very helpful. Food was excellent. Would gladly return again if I had a chance ( maybe ). Manager was very kind and respectful. He had a lot of great things to say about my late homeboy. Thank you sooo much.

One of the best places to eat a little bit of everything! I love going there and I will definitely go back.

This was a very clean place. Variety is more than you would need. Friday buffet was fresh and hot food was hot and cold food was cold. The best mac&cheese and pot roast anywhere.

Food tastes great, and the variety of food is awesome. My family and I love to come here when we come to San Antonio. The kids love the food and the desserts. My favorite is the pecan pie! Well, the service varies from waiter/waitress. Some we get an attentive person, sometimes we get one that forgets about our table. But I understand it gets busy sometimes and can be overwhelming. All in all, it is a great place to eat.

Always an issue with the restrooms. How does a spaghetti noodle end up on the door knob to a stall? Mind you, as I walked in, the floor was wet as if a toilet overflowed but it smelled like pine sol. So I think someone from the restaurant had been sent in their to clean up. So if someone went in to clean up, how in the world does spaghetti get on the door knob. And it’s always stuffy in there. There’s no ventilation in a room that most definitely needs ventilation. Do you know how bad stinks up in restrooms that have no exhaust vents?) Always a problem for this restaurant.

Great location and place to eat. Food was hot and fresh and our server was quick to fill our berates and clear away the dished as we finished each part of our meal. The only complaint I have is, the areas where the food items are served from, the counters were in desperate need of cleaning. We were there for 90 minutes and the counters were never wiped down, especially in the salad bar area. It gives a negative vibe when you see food areas looking like this. They did have a 100% A+ Health Inspection Report on display. I didn’t seem that busy. Maybe it was an off day for them?

I had reserved a space in the party room and spoke to a lady named Erika. When I got there, they said they had a party of SIXTY and that Erika had overbooked. The were speaking to each other off to the side and we’re trying to put our party on anyone but them. According to them, They “went through all the trouble” of finding us like 5 tables together of which my sister that arrived before us was ALREADY sitting at. She wasn’t aware I made reservations so she was just saving seats. They then asked if we spoke Spanish (which we do) because our server was mostly Spanish speaking. She was awesome btw. She made sure we were good the whole time we sat there. The sister that showed up late tells the cashier as they’re paying for their dinners that we had a room reserved already. Her cashier was different from ours and didn’t know who we were, as we were sitting close-by. The cashier told my sister that she didn’t see the overbook. She then goes over to the party room and comes to us and says that there is PLENTY of space in the party room. They come to us, and the wait staff helped us seamlessly relocate to the party room.
