OK, so let’s talk about how professional these people are. The manager is highly professional and was very interactive with his employees. Very comfortable environment. Felt like home. Also, the manager and the staff did a great job on the cleanliness of the environment. Not only was the bar so clean with all the food on it you could probably lick Your fingers don’t really do that I’m just saying. I am very surprised and super happy to see a golden corral that is still highly professional and represents the name. This is the spot to go to. You will not be disappointed. Plus, the chefs were on their job. They were slicing the meat and very attentive to the customers. as well as a fresh fruits and vegetable display and the background highlights the show. See my photos I have proof. Been to many Golden corrals between Knoxville, Nashville, Fort, Oglethorpe, and even in California and this Golden corral, Surely tops them all.

I am not a big fan of buffets to start with but my older relatives love them do I try to oblige them on occasion & join them with the family. That being said I will definitely be skipping any future trips to this buffet. It could be a lack of properly trained staff or just a lack of experience but this buffet is definitely one of the least favorable experiences I’ve had. When we first arrived it seemed fairly standard & it wasn’t terribly busy so I assumed the buffet would be clean & well stocked…..wrong! It looked like a hurricane had just whipped they the area, there was food strewn all over the place & the serving utensils appeared to be covered in greasy hand prints. It was quite unappetizing to see such a mess before I could even prepare a plate of food. I decided I would just try the salad bar portion & perhaps the staff (who seemed completely lost) would tidy up & restock the hot foods. The salad bar portion was as bad if not worse than the other areas. There was salad dressing puddles everywhere & it looked like a child had a field day playing in the lettuce & cheese. The ladles for the dressings were not even in the correct containers, it would have been funny if the price for this buffet wasn’t so ridiculously expensive. The one good thing about the Pandemic was not having my family get together at buffets, I guess from now on I will eat beforehand because I definitely won’t be wasting my money in this place. I did ask to speak to a manager but I’m fairly sure the person who came to our table was not the manger but just another employee they sent over so that their manager wouldn’t know how unhappy our large group was, even my most die hard buffet loving family members were disgusted with the entire experience. Golden Corral I suggest you do a retraining session with your staff if you expect to keep any customers, that is unless people jjust want to pay to eat from such a disgusting buffet!!!

Love this restaurant. All you can eat for one price. All the food is fresh and tasty. Every kind of meat is so tender. Hardly any chewing is involved. The catfish is delicious along with the beef tips. Had two separate servings. Definitely will return back.

The workers are always rushed and lose manners because of it. I honestly saw one worker aggressively physically push his way through a little crowd where the steak is… Just to check on the levels of food on the other side.

They serve a little of everything you can imagine. You really can gain alot of weight by going here. If your hungry it’s the place to go. A wise decision to remember eat what you want and like before that trip going to salad bar. The salad bar will fill you up before getting to hot food.

1 star because I could not give it a 0. The food was below subpar. It was dry. The steak was ok but had an aftertaste, the pulled pork was dry and looked like cracklings, the ham was dry, and the drink was loaded with sugar. Please tell me how you burn a full pan of rolls and still decide to serve them? The lettuce was old, utensils were dirty and the mashed potatoes were salty. If I could get a refund I would because what we paid for what we got was ridiculous. The cotton candy was the best thing going. I don’t know what everyone else had that left a review but it must of been breakfast because the dinner was horrible. I’m jealous because my baby had the opportunity to eat baby food and I had to eat this mess. 10/10 do not recommend and will definitely not be returning.

Most of the food was good, but with any buffet, there were some items that sat under the lamp too long. The best part of the experience was our server. He was wonderful!

The food was just plain bad. There were options that didn’t even look like food & options that looked good, but were overcooked/dry/mushy. It’s a shame the ribs were either tough or dry (there were 2 options – the fresh cut ones were tough from not being cooked long enough & the ones in the warming tray were more tender, but were getting dried out.) The yeast rolls looked to have been left out too long after rising & were misshapen blobs that also tasted undercooked. The place was clean, the staff was great, but the food just sucked. To make matters worse, it was my kid’s birthday. We had last been some time before the shut downs & it was her favorite restaurant, (the food was great back then) she was excited to be going back, but instead was very disappointed. I would never go back, especially not for having paid $60.

It was great. I am 71 years old. My two sons took me. We used to go every week but it’s been a year because I haven’t had the money . I will go when I can again. Love this place.

Stopped in Cookeville on way to north Carolina. Sister paid for the whole family to eat because this place was supposed to be so good. The food was cold. The whole restaurant was nasty dirty… had to go through 20 plates to find a clean one. And we were there for over an hour and never even got refills on our drinks.
