I started coming to this location when they first moved here. Always enjoyed a good family meal growing up. To us, it was peak going out. When I moved up north 6 years ago, I have been always craving GC. Work brought me back and the memories of family came rushing back. Ate the meatloaf my dad always craved. The salad bar my mom always commented on how fresh it was, and of course the fried chicken I ate too much of.

The place is always busy. It’s still a nice sit-down to eat really good pricing as well. The food is hit or miss sometimes like the fountain drinks sometimes have an off taste to them. The servers are always super nice. The buttered up buns though are out of this world good! The street bourbon chicken is my favorite also. They have a good amount of cakes and sweets and even an ice cream machine and a icee machine. Very good place to eat if you want a little of everything but don’t want to spend way to much!

Food is great….best to go when it’s not busy. Once it becomes busy, good luck with getting anything from your server. Feel like they need more servers. Paid $57 and change for 2 adults and two kids 7 &11.

If there was a negative star I definitely would have rated this place. Came in at 1pm food was barely warm, the mashed potatoes were so dry they wouldn’t even come off the spoon onto my plate. All the meat was dry as well & tasted like perfume had been spilled on it. Even the collard greens were dry & disgusting. Silverware had dry food particles on both sets. Service was barelya 1 star(I’ve been a server/bartender for over 15yrs) no refills on drinks and did not even take the dirty plates off the tables in her entire section.

Of course, it’s an American buffet. The quality here has improved in most areas. The bathrooms need to be checked more often. My visit today, I happened to sit in Rob’s area and he did an amazing job tending to his entire section. I cannot recall having a more pleasant experience than this particular visit as far as service goes. The food was also freshly rotated, peak lunchtime. A note for improvement would be more frequent attention to the restrooms.

My family and I have a tradition to have family breakfast, dinner, or lunch in honor of my mother. My brother and I chose to do breakfast on yesterday 8/6/2023! We sat at our table no longer than 3 minutes before the waitress came over and introduced herself. As we say and ate, we tried to get her attention as she would by repeatedly calling her (Karen). So Indias off continuously trying to get her we asked another young lady named Vicky I believe to assist us on refills and etc because we were being ignored. So we asked for the manager. Because she openly came into the section would not help us only the non color people that were there. That was clear racial profiling. When the manager came over and I explained to her what was going on she stated to us that she isn’t normally that way but she’ll talk to her! We were so disgusted that we didn’t finish our food we decided to leave. The manager stopped me and said that she had talked to her and told me that wasn’t her section. So why introduce yourself as waitress? The manager also said that they have a Buddy system. Ok so where was the Buddy system? I also told her that we repeatedly called her by name and she ignored us completely! That was the most disrespectful treatment we’ve experienced!!!!! Like I said we were clearly ignored because we were African American!!! I say that because she came to Our section and assisted everyone but us!! I will not turn there ever!

All you can eat for $18 the food is as expected, definitely not to say bad kn any regard, but some empty trays they couldn’t keep up with in dinner rush, and the meat loaf was quite dry.

The food is marginal. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is… basic. This place feels like it was really nice when it first opened but like its been loved pretty hard since then. We love to go because of the variety/there is always something everyone will like— but I would not RUSH in or anything.
