Was good till I saw a ROACH! in the food and yes I know this is Florida but…it’s a German roach not to mention when there these that means there are millions not just 2 or 1 but these tiny ones always mean that. Service is always okay same with the food but this is just BLEH!

Food was excellent, hot, fresh, and an amazing variety of things we can’t find on our golden corral buffet. However in a restaurant full of people in the middle of dinner rush we could hear the manager yelling at someone, yes we also heard her yelling food orders for the buffet back too, but when we first sat down she was giving someone hell. Our waitress was OK seemed like maybe she was paying a bit more attention to everything except her area, therefor she needed help getting tables cleared but she was pleasant and made sure our drinks were full.

We have been to several other locations, but I can say that this one is by far the best one we have been to, the restaurant was so clean and have such a good illumination, is safe to say that it has many more options in the buffet than other locations, if you go at dinner for the meat, you won’t have to make line 20 times since at this location they would give you decent pieces of meat. Our waiter was Shawn and he is definitely a gem for this place, amazing service and very attentive. Our hotel was about 30 minutes away but it was worth the drive and we would do it again.

We almost had a perfect family outing yesterday at the Golden Corral Buffet. Only complaint is the staff interaction at the dessert bar. When it came time for dessert I was tasked with getting a plate for us. Being we already had full stomachs it was not going to go well at the dessert bar. In my mind I expected it to only be an internal conflict. So when it was my turn to dish our dessert I saw so much that looked good I wanted to get a tiny amount of each. It was fine when I could see small portions like one or two bite tidbits. I picked out the smallest items I could. But then I got to the full cakes and pies. Looking at those I knew there was no way I would eat a full slice. But nevertheless I still felt compelled to have some. So I proceeded to portion them smaller. I am not talking about the plated desserts just the ones still in the pie tray or cake stand. I did it fine with two things but I noticed out of the corner of my eye that I was being observed by the employee tending to the desserts. When I went to take my last selection the employee spoke up and said I can not cut the pie in the pie tray, mind you after I already had the chosen slice halfway cut, and she would have to throw it away if I did cut it. So I just said ok I will just leave it as it is and I stopped and walked away. But it still felt awkward getting confronted and being confused what I did to break a rule at the buffet. Was I not allowed to only take what I wanted? Was I not allowed to portion down things that were already sliced? Am I supposed to be wasteful? If I was in a different mood I could imagine my reaction would have been disruptive to the staff or other patrons. Figured I would get this off my mind. Thanks for the rest of the experience it was awesome

It doesn’t feel as clean as it used to. I liked the fact that you have plastic gloves available. But I think they should be offered to everyone as soon as they check out. I did not know about them until my second attempt at getting food. The carpet is especially rough looking and the whole place smells funky. Also there were many flies.

During my first visit to this location after years of not going to a GC, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. The server consistently ensured that our plates were stocked while we were at the buffet side, and the establishment maintained a high level of cleanliness. The staff, from management to cashiers and grill chefs, were incredibly polite and friendly. Also, the food was really fresh and served hot. I highly recommend this location for any GC lover!

Still one of the best meal values around. I hear a lot about buffet dining in general and the verdict is usually bad. I personally like being able to make my own choices of what I want to eat. Not limited to just one entree, that you may or may not enjoy. At Golden Corral, you’re the meal organizer and you decide. A nice salad, a little seafood, chicken, steak, pasta, and plenty of veggies to choose from. And it’s not seven wings for $15, the whole experience, drinks, and tip and as many wings as you want for around $15 if you can arrive before 4pm.
