I am beginning to suspect this restaurant is sponsored by a Sino-American friendship fund.

We finally found a quiet little family-owned Chinese restaurant, near to home, with truly excellent food and prices that won’t break our family bank. The sauces were exceptional and the shrimp large and flavorful, rather than the usual tiny shrimp lost in a mountain of deep fried goo. 5 stars across the board, absolutely. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

The the food has changed since before covid when I was there last. The service was excellent and deserved extra tipping. The food however had such a “shrimpy” taste to every dish (no shrimp ordered). Unfortunately it was so overpowering I could not eat most of my food. I have a kiddo that has severe shrimp allergies so it’s good to know that I will not be able to take her to that place. If you have no allergies and love shrimp then you could give it a five star. You do get large portions, it’s affordable, is cooked well and has beautiful color. I just personally could not handle the shrimp taste

Been eating here for a long time. Reminds me of some of the places I used to eat in trips to SF where you only hear Cantonese being spoken and the menu and tickets will have Chinese characters as well as English. It’s one of the few places where you can get actual Ma La where the Sichuan peppercorn will actually give you some numbness. The hot n sour is extremely good here as well. I also snapped a shot of some take out beef in garlic sauce because it’s insanely addicting. They have scallion pancakes and the pot stickers are huge, unlike their gyoza counterpart like one might expect. If you go real early after they open you might see them still snapping beans and peas and such and filling tubs with fresh veggies, which fresh veggies makes a big difference. You’re not going to get soup dumplings here, but it’s a quality representation of Chinese American food and they are the nicest people.

Haven’t been in a long time but the food is good. I liked that they will tailor the spiciness to how you like it. Really liked the sesame beef.

Excellent food that is fresh and tasty, served in huge portions, with good pricing and many selections from which to choose. A real standout. If you’re anywhere in the vicinity and have even a hint of getting some Asian eats, go straight here. You won’t regret it. I can’t wait for another opportunity to return.

Very dated resturant. No substitutions so you have to order everything exactly as is on the menu which makes it difficult and more costly to get what you want. Cant even upgrade the white rice to fried:gotta buy it separate. No combination diners as well. Food wasnt great and the overall hassle wasnt worth it. Definitely better quality and more friendly/flexible Chinese restaurants in the area. Reccomend Great Taste by the mall or Taste of China by Costco.

Imo, the best chinese food that ive had in Vancouver… way better than all others in the area. Pride in their dishes. Not soggy and overly sweet like most. Clean. I Don’t dine there often, but when I do, I’m always reminded of how good it is.
