I absolutely love Golden China. The food is delicious and is honestly the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. That to and includes it being some of the food I’ve had overall! You will not be disappointed at all. The restaurant is always clean and the staff members are hard-working and very nice. Also, the ice cream is wonderful. It’s always nice to have a great treat after a wonderful meal. 6 out of 5 stars.

Absolutely tasteless food, the menus were dirty. Plus I have now problems with my stomach. If I can give my honest advise – the staff in the kitchen need to change the job. We hoped to have very nice dinner, actually we barely ate 1/3 of what we ordered.

Going to start with the good stuff before I tear into this restaurant. Nice atmosphere, nice wait staff, decent selection for what they have. I got some sweet and sour chicken and one of the chicken I pulled out a 6in long piece of plastic. I say “chicken” but it was fried plastic. No chicken inside of the fried batter. Just plastic.

The last time I came in here 8 months ago, i was horrendously sick, the rice wasn’t properly cooked, so it was hard and crunchy, the chicken was dry and pokey where it shredded, the drink LITERALLY had a bug in it. That said, I’m more than willing to give a restaurant a second chance. Which is why I came in today. I was seated, and waiting for a server to come and take my drink order. A manager approached me and said “I remember you, you were here six months ago” to which we nodded and agreed, letting her know that we were hoping for a better result since this wasnt the buffet. We were told “well the last two times you came in, you were unhappy and we have the same food so I dont think you’re gonna be happier this time.” I… I was willing to give them a second chance to improve on a bad experience. Now? Not darkening their doorstep again.

I have been eating at Golden China for as long as I can rememeber! The food was not always the best, but as time has went by it has gotten remarkable! I love their fried rice, homemade duck sauce, and especially their special Honey Chicken! I would rate it with 5 stars, however most people think of fancy restaurants, and it is definitely not the ‘fanciest’. It is just a small town Chinese mom and pop’s cafe, with exceptional quality. I’d prefer to give it 4.5.
