I accidentally found this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat. I had a taste for Chinese food and I saw the restaurant on the web. I was just a few miles away so I tried it out and man what a surprise I got. The food was great and the young lady at the service desk was very polite. I didn’t feel as if I was being watched while I ate my food. The atmosphere there was right on point and even the customers were very friendly. Golden China is a great place to eat and enjoy yourself while doing so. I recommend you go and see for yourself.

I thought I was given the wrong g item. I ordered mandarin chicken. I received chicken covered in brown gravy topped with almonds. I called to see about returning it and getting the correct item. They told me that what I received is their mandarin chicken….

Golden China is my favorite kind of restaurant in that it is solidly secure in its identity, utterly unpretentious, and unerringly consistent. If you are a first timer, I recommend the lunch buffet, which has featured the exact same, well-balanced dishes for the entire eight years we have lived here. Stars for me include the hot and sour soup (honestly the best I’ve had anywhere, something I immediately crave anytime I am sick), veggie-filled garlic chicken, lo mein, egg rolls, slightly spicy general General Tso’s, and the famous melt-in-your-mouth glazed doughnuts. Many of the meat dishes are veggie-heavy, which is thrilling to me: thick slices of green peppers and cabbage and fresh zucchini and broccoli all day. (Note: the lunch buffet has raised prices since we first came, but honestly they were too low before! The quality of the food is well worth the 11 dollars and change for the buffet.) To top it off, the owners of the family-run establishment are kind and welcoming. My (picky eater) daughter says if she were to pick a number between one to ten to rate this place, she’d say “ONE MILLION!” High praise indeed, Golden China.

My immediate family, and our extended family, love Chinese food, but have always been picky in where we eat it. For us, Golden China is the best we’ve found in the area!! We’ve been frequent customers for many years, and they are still our favorite Chinese restaurant, even though I now drive for nearly 30 minutes to eat here. This is a small family run and authentic Chinese restaurant with very few employees (since the pandemic began). Due to their limited size, I do call ahead a little further in advance than we used to so that we don’t have to wait long upon arrival, but the food quality, portion sizes, and prices are well worth giving them a little extra time for prep! If you’ve never tried Golden China, this is a great local restaurant worth checking out!!

Food was amazing! I placed a pick up order and I was very surprised by the amount of food I got for my money and the quality was amazing. Best Chinese food I’ve had for a long time. Everything had its own distinct flavor and the meal as a whole went together really well and was very satisfying. My favorite was the chicken wings and the little wonton crisps, but it was all very tasty! Amazing food for amazing prices, try this place and you won’t regret it! 🙂

Always the best pork fried rice in town. The vegetable egg rolls are just right. I’ve been eating here for well over a decade and I have never had a bad meal. The servers are always friendly. This is my go to Chinese restaurant whether dining in or taking out. Prices are reasonable, too.

The food is NOT like it once was! The ingredients ARE NOT fresh! The shrimp are minuscule & green peas are over used. The eggs rolls have shorter lengths. There are better Chinese food places 2 miles west of here.

Went to this place about once a week for at least 10 years or so. Got buffet and take-out. 95 percent of the time it was excellent. That’s a great rate of success because I do not expect absolute perfection from anywhere. They have the best egg rolls in town and the buffet is very reasonably priced with high quality stuff. Definitely recommend.
