We hadn’t visited Golden Chick in awhile so my wife and I dropped in. She had the shrimp combo and loved it. I continued with the seafood theme and ordered the 2 piece catfish combo but was surprised at how tiny the portions were. I guess I was expecting a little more for $10.99 but all I got was the “little” part. Even tiny it still tasted good, though.

I really like the food here. My one issue is the times I have been there the free ice cream machine is never working, always disappointing my children, it has only been twice but… Also not sure if it has been not working the whole time, or we are just unlucky that it was not working both times we were there.

Catfish is tiny for two pieces for over $10. Did not include all sides in takeout order. Fried items tasted like grease was ready for a change. Rolls are great.

So I had the Big & golden sandwich combo,so this is a very small sandwich to start with,the chicken breast was really very dry the fries was o.k. Unfortunately they won’t be seeing me again. My friend had some chicken wings 9 spicy chicken wings to be exact,he waited more then 25 mins for his wings that wasn’t spicy at all. So sorry but I’ll rather support KFC.

Wow, $20 for two 2 piece meals that were miniature in size. I must say, this restaurant has definitely downsized drastically in their portions. Noramlly I try my best to not post anythjng negative, but this is not right. Disappointed.

The food is delicious, I’ve yet to have my order shorted or messed up and the facility is always clean. The only reason I did not give 5 ⭐️ is because sometimes the strips are very small & it’s frustrating but otherwise no complaints!

Lots if flies in the dining room, staff working was not concerned with anything other than gossip and their friends who were hanging out in the lobby. This is how it is EVERY time we stop (roughly 1-2 times a month). Food was decent.
