Food was AMAZING. but if the customer service is bad then I rather eat else where. The African American guy that works the window with the short cut is always rude and acts like he hates being here.. better customer service would be great!

I stopped by today, looking for a quick meal. I was happy to find that the menu includes roasted chicken, cole slaw, and side salad. Best of all, the combo meal drink can be substituted for a second side. My order was less than $10, and everything was fresh and tasty (roast chicken thigh, cole slaw, and side salad). The gentleman at the window was very professional. I will definitely visit this location again soon.

So the first time I went on last week food was very good, so I went back the next day I did not check my order before leaving due to food being great the day before, and that was a big mistake food was less than luke warm and was not good at all so I returned to not only order fresh cooked hot food but the lady at the counter asked me did I expect “fresh hot food” then proceeded to explain to me that she was trying to save money and that it was the chicken that they did not sale the day before warmed up. I only had a blank stare after she openly said that so she proceeded with a “I’m sorry” and I followed her response by canceling my order and letting her know we would not be returning to this location at all even the rolls were rock hard but she claimed they were fresh

I ordered fried okra and rolls yesterday for lunch. And the okra was mixed with fresh and old okra. Most of the okra was too hard to eat because it was sitting under the lamp too long. I tried to call and complain yesterday and today, left a message. No return call as of yet.

Would give it less stars if I could. Like my lord can I get some condiments with the food. Everything is extra and they give you such a small amount. I understand cost savings but this is just going to loose a bunch of customers. The large meal that I got and it came with some of the smallest sauces I’ve ever seen. Ridiculous……!!!!

The chicken strips were great! But, I ordered mashed potatoes with the gravy on the side. They took a pre-made mashed w/gravy and scraped SOME of the gravy off the top, leaving a ring of gravy around the edges. I’m picky but it’s a very simple request. I also added a 3 piece shrimp which includes dipping sauce, ie cocktail, I received no sauce. It’s the simple things that ruin a meal.

I pulled into the drive thru to order and the employee simply said Golden chick not may I take your order I said I beg your pardon as in does that mean may I take your order? I decided to pass on dining here because the lack of service in placing my order was off putting

Brought my dad here for a quick eat. He had a two piece meal, they let him have two legs instead of the normal. One leg was more like a small wing then a chicken leg. Gentlemen who took are order was nice and friendly. This location is a franchise and the new one they are building 2 blocks south at 183 and 157 is a corporate owned one. Hope it doesn’t hurt the business too much of this one.

I ordered a 3 piece with the corn nuggets. My chicken was undercooked and the skin wasn’t even close to what the picture in the menu looks like. Only abe to eat half of the chicken. Corn nuggets were the highlight of that meal, when it should have been the chicken. Lots of laughing and goofing around could be heard from outside the drive through window. I’ll come again to do another review.

I come to this golden chick often and the drive thru guy has a terrible attitude. I always get wings and ask that they’re all flats, but for some reason he says “we don’t do that”, and when he’s not there it’s no problem. They even have an “all flats” option that shows up on the POS, but he said to me “we don’t do that, and we’ve never done that,” even the another coworker on the drive thru backed him up which means they’re just calling me a liar. It’s okay, I just went down the street and ask the other golden chick for the same order, they gave me no problems!
