Food great but pricing and portion control are too much. Meal used to include drink and 2 sides plus roll. Now its a drink and one side or no drink and two sides. Several of the sides have an up-charge. Gravy was not counted as a “side” or dipping sauce which it now is. I ordered a 2 piece fish and was surprised at how small pieces were. On the positive side, food was tasty and staff very courteous. As for atmosphere, decor has been updated but tables are sorely in need of refinishing. It will be a while before we go back.

How this place even has above a 3 rating is beyond me. This food was terrible. I spent almost $25 on 2 catfish combos. The catfish was so hard I thought I chipped a tooth when I took a bite. The pieces were so small(only about 4 inches long) there is no way that an adult could be satisfied with them. The mac n cheese was clumped together and dry. The fries were soggy and cold. I asked for tarter sauce and I was told it’s in the bag….nope got home n nothing. Asked for side of green beans n got a side of gravy…what the heck I need gravy for when I have fish? I don’t know if it’s just this location or what but I surely am not going to try any other location anyways. Do better people

I’ve never been a fan of their chicken. It’s okay. The real draw to go to chick is their catfish! It is made fresh to order every time you come in. It’s hot, delicious, not overly salted and perfectly seasoned. It’s always fresh and it’s real catfish not substitute fish. It’s totally worth the wait every time!

I came here after a long day of work and was expecting my food to be fresh, instead what I got was overly dried out tenders, that were so hard I could’ve broke a tooth. The sweet tea was not sweet and tasted awful. Service was no better. Please hire new employees at this location.

I would give this specific location no stars if I could. After ordering around 8pm (mind you they “close” at 10:30) there was only one car in front of me and when I pulled up to the window they said they were completely sold out of tenders!? Did not believe them one bit how can you sell out of the #1 thing you sell I mean they could have told me that before I waited an extra 5-10mins behind the person in front of me? I called the location just to see if they in fact “sold out” or just didn’t want to drop more that night with 2.5 hrs left to go, they magically had tenders the next day But We’re sold out the night before with no shipment coming in? This one specifically is a joke better off going to one that is 10-20 mins away. Overall lack of management, extremely lazy and no type of customer service.

So this is my first and probably my last visit to a Golden Chick I’m embarrassed and ashamed all in one for this company “Thighs and Fries” and over $10 for this Seriously!! I could have taken that $10 and went to Lisa’s Chicken and got a 10 peice with rolls literally ! Explains why they had No business!! Fries and chicken are cold taste like they’ve been sitting under the heat lamp since lunch time at least all 3 thighs are the smallest thighs I’ve Ever seen in my lol life!! {{ I Do Not Recommend This Restaurant Whatsoever }}
