I have been going to this location for most of my life, I have been to tons of similar places all over Northern NY, the Finger Lakes region and Columbus,OH. My family and I still swear by Golden Cheng, a solid selection, fast friendly service, everything is fresh and delicious. I have asked them to modify menu items and they kindly and accurately do. Portions and pricing are generous. Outstanding place.

Functional Hot Mess
It is 85 degrees outside, and yet these dedicated professionals ( and in my opinion essential workers)are visibly wearing masks!! Don’t ask me how Carthage NY ended up with some of the best Chinese food around…. but it is what it is! Customer service is above and beyond and prices are great!

Golden Cheng is easily the best Chinese place in the entirety of Jefferson and lewis counties. The staff are super nice every time we order, there meal options are plentiful and its definitely a nice amount of food you get with your meal for the price you pay. Id easily recommend Golden Cheng to any of my family or friends. If your looking for a place to get Chinese food at, this is the place!!
