Stopped in and tried the buffet, which was easily worth the price. The dumplings, fried rice, and sugar dumplings were the highlights. The building is a little small but easy to maneuver through inside. The staff was nice and fast to seat us and supply refills. Definitely recommend supporting this locality! it was $20, even for me and my girl to eat the lunch buffet.

This food is very delicious for the price. I have tried multiple dishes here, and I haven’t tasted a bad thing there since I started going there 18 years ago. This restaurant has been open in Claremore since the late 1980s. Portion sizes are good. There is a weekday buffet from 11 am to around 3:30 PM, I believe that is a great price.

Good stop for fast take out. Points added for sauce on General TSO Chicken, egg rolls, cool Chinese objects throughout the restaurant, quick ready service, they gave me some extra sweet and sour chicken with my takeout.

Very good fresh brew tea (unsweetened), the lunch buffet is probably the best deal in a hundred miles. It is about 20+ items. Very clean and cozy and the waitress is super sweet. They could raise their price 20% and it would still be the best in town.

It was my first for my family and I trying this restaurant. The only reason for 4 stars, is I didn’t get to try everything. I went for favorites that I always have loved. The owners are very friendly, and their usual customers are cared for. The food was fresh, and hot and tasty. I really enjoyed the egg drop soup, and the lo mein. The lo mein is not spaghetti noodles. I also had the garlic chicken, egg rolls, and sweet and sour items, fried potatoes are very good, and the fried rice was good. The restaurant is very small, and intimate. They made sure they checked on you. The prices are good. Whenever we visit Claremore, if my other favorite Chinese buffet is closed, I will definitely go to Golden Chef.

This place is absolutely amazing. Best Chinese I’ve had in forever and the potions are huge. Also helps that the service was great as well. Plus everything cooked to order! Just go try it out for yourself.

Went in the drive thru. Got lo mein, turns out their lo mein is spaghetti noodles with butter and pepper on them. Any color on them is because i added soy sauce. So disappointing. Fried Chinese donuts were okay though.
