Wow what an awesome owner. Stopped in to deliver a package while on the clock and the owner Rod and I had started talking and I told him I’ve never heard of them before and I’ll have to try it out next time I deliver around here on my break. Rod offered me a sub on the house and omg it was amazing and so nice of him. I really appreciate it and will be back.

These subs are delicious. They can be a little messy but the mess is worth it. The employees are friendly and the building is clean. The gold dust and the Pentagon club are my two favorites. Don’t be deceived though the six inch sub is obviously 6 inches long but also 4 inches wide but stuffed full of veggies and meat. Each sub has different seasonings and oil blend so choose wisely and enjoy.

One of my very favorite sub shops in the city. The lettuce filler is fantastic with celery salt as an added flavor. Everything blends well into a fantastic sub.

I used to LOVE the ham n cheese subs here. They were excellent!!! That’s all I ever ordered. However, the last time I was there (March, 2023) they changed the type of ham they use!! It used to be boiled ham or cooked ham whatever you wanna call it. That time I had ham off the bone type sandwich and it wasn’t as good. Not even close!!!!! There was even fat around the edges of the meat. That is NOT boiled ham!!! I asked the owner and he claimed that it was the same ham as always. Um, you lied right to my face because I know the difference. I won’t be back. The change in the taste was awful. I’ll now visit Suburpia. Very dissatisfied customer!

The bread is a little stale once in a while, so they gotta be careful about that, but I’m still gunna give 5 stars because it’s tasty, (presumably) locally owned, and affordably priced.

I love to try small business deli shops and this was amazing. The bread is just delicious and a perfect combo of crisp and soft.

Sandwich was good..only comment was I would rather have slices of tomatoes and lettuce leaves rather than shredded. Tables could of been wiped down. Will try them again.

I have been a fan of the Say Cheese since the 90’s. Gold Coast is MUCH better than Suburpia, hands down. Had to make the extra trek from Tosa since the West Allis location is gone and it was still worth the trip!

Best subs in Milwaukee and you are closed on Sunday and Monday!! This place feels like a secret, nobody knows about them unless you’ve been a long time customer.
