Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but we love Gold Chain and I’m so happy to have found a go-to takeout place in the area. Food is consistently delicious and the service is super quick. We’ve tried a variety of dishes from here and everything has been better quality and taste than other places in the area. ⭐️

I deleted my previous review, which was not favorable, as I ate there again this week. Truth is, prices have gone up, quantity and quality has gone down, and all post pandemic. Owners don’t seem to care as they don’t respond to reviews. They were once very good. It’s too bad.

Ordered from Gold Chain last night Kung Pao Chicken and Cashew chicken. The king poa had maybe one piece of chicken it in and was all broccoli stems. The cashew chicken was the same thing. Barely any cashews and broccoli stumps. Insult to injury the fortune cookies were empty. Usually love this place but I’m not going back after this. One dish being slightly off is forgivable. But both dishes that were kitchen scraps of unused veggies. No thanks.

Delicious beef with black bean. Much better than my local Chinese restaurant in Monroe, NY. Scallion pancake was delicious, but was prepackaged in the freezer. I didn’t mind though as I had purchased this product myself in an Asian market and knew they were good.

Got food poisoning from this joint. TWICE. Would not recommend eating the steamed vegetable dumplings. Guess they’re not ordered enough to be fresh every time. Both my husband and I got sick and that was the only common food we both ate.

Nickel and Dime you place with average food. Paid extra dollar for egg in fried rice, okay. But for house mustard, a quarter a cup is the very definition of nickel and diming you. Won’t go back.
