Absolutely incredible. Everything we tried from the menu was delicious, the restaurant is beautiful, and our server Nicky was so friendly and helpful, patiently answering all our questions about the menu! Overall 10/10 experience can’t wait to come again! The Beef Bulgogi was the best thing I’ve ever tried!

Very happy with our experience here. The waitress was quick and attentive. Our food came quickly and we really enjoyed both the appetizers and the meal. The seafood pancake is very large but fantastic. Could easily split it 4 ways or more. The shrimp tempura is a great addition to the meal. The shrimp fried rice is standard but very yummy. BUT the Beef Bulgogi is the reason to go, it is incredibly tender and tasty. A great place for Korean food and we will be back.

Gogi is an absolutely beautiful restaurant from walking in to the food. We have been multiple times and love the entire experience. We had the pork dumplings and steamed eggs with green onion appetizers. They were both very flavorful and a delightful start to our meal. Be advised the steamed eggs do take longer to prepare. For our entrees I had the spicy pork bibimbap combo with Galbi (Korean steak bites). It comes sizzling from the kitchen in a hot stone bowl that sears the bottom of the rice and adds an extra layer of texture to an already mouthwatering and flavor dish. My wife had the kimchi fried rice which was cooked to perfection and had a tangy flavor from the fermented cabbage and spices. The meals are also accompanied by sides that come at no additional cost and are refilled at your request. They included Daikon, coleslaw, potatoes in a sweet sauce and kimchi. The service is always attentive and friendly and we look forward to going back every time we leave. We always end up with leftovers and get roughly 2 extra meals from our order. Total cost for the food was only $52 , the value for the quality is overwhelming. Highly recommend checking it out and enjoying some authentic Korean food made with a whole lot of love and care.

Friend told me to try this place. Great advice. Service and food were great. I lived in Maui for a few years and ate a ton of Korean food. This place cured my craving! Was hard to order, stuck with the kimchi fried rice and the spicy squid. Sooo good. Highly recommend

Michelle, our waitress was very on top of her game. She explained some items to us as we didn’t know what to get. This was our first time here (Mother’s Day). We definitely will go back bc we were all pleased with our dishes. Exceptional food! Great sized portions.

It was good Korean food for Knoxville or American standards but it doesn’t match the authentic Korean flavors. It’s toned down, under seasoned but also not that expensive, so I’m looking forward to coming back and trying a bit more food!

Awesome food! The calamari was perfect. The seafood pancake was so good! The beef bibimbap was amazing. Our server was super polite. The restaurant was clean and brightly lit. My only complaint was the noise level. The music is way too loud. It’s hard to hear and have a conversation at your table. Other than that, it was a great experience.

I went to the Gogi Korean Kitchen on 7818 Montvue… I had gotten the standard Bulgogi Bimbimbap in the K Mixed Rice category. The service was amazing! Our waitress was beyond kind, she made me & my sisters first experience to this restaurant a general joy. And the food was amazing! A really great introduction to Korean food that will inspire us to further expand our food pallet. Definitely find myself going back.

I moved my lunch at Gogi! It was a frequent favorite of my co-workers, so I agreed to go for a celebration lunch, and I was not disappointed! I recommend getting a plate so that you can get all of the shareable sides (including kimchi and daikon radishes that taste great together), and don’t be scared of the plates that are callled ‘hot’ – they are a bit spicy, but delightfully so.
