We arrived at 6:15 pm buffet goes till 8. The buffet was old cold pizza. They brought one fresh pizza in an hour of being there. There were 4 tables of people in the restaurant. When asked at 7:15 when and what next pizza would be we were told they weren’t going to bring any more out due to the time. Really???

Mother-truckin’ amazing. Our pies were fresh and our garlic bread was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. It amazes me that Winona has so many chain pizza options and yet Godfather’s easily slaps the pants off of the competition. My companion tried the pizza buffet and was also very pleased. Overall pleasant pizza experience and we will be returning.

Every time we go to Godfather’s it’s a different issue. Buffet, no food and no napkins. Special they ran out of the large taco pizzas. Employees are rude. Decided to give them another try. Now I tried to order a pizza for delivery and they have no delivery service at this time. Come on, get with the program. You are here to serve the public!! Without us you will not be open any more. Should be a minus star.

Ordered a pizza with listed pick up time as 8:01 PM. Staff calls at 8:01 PM as we are on our way to pick up our order and informs that they have run out of cheese and they are about to close so they couldn’t make our order anyway (over two hours before close time listed on website). They had not even started our order by the listed ready time and called us after the ready time to tell us it was not going to be made. Save your time and go somewhere that actually makes pizza by the ready time or can notify you in a prompt manner if that is not possible.

Special thanks to Dawn at the Winona Godfather’s Pizza. She called 911 and was very concerned & helpful when my mom had a stroke there at lunch time, on 2/2/2017. After her shift was done, she even stopped by the ER to check on mom’s status. That was going above and beyond. I hope management realizes what a great employee they have with her. Thanks Dawn! Service and food are always great when we go.

Rude employees, the manager said they’d make a special request, the cashier made a really big deal that we were getting a special request, then when the pizza came it was not what we ordered. At least be nice when you lie to the customers.
