I visited with a friend of mine while visiting Chicago. I loved the option to receive free additional traditional pasta if you ordered a traditional or signature pasta. The food was ok, not really seasoned well. The drinks were bitter. My friend and I both ordered fruit drinks but they were bitter and I could taste the club soda more than anything. Our waitress was awesome and very accommodating. The atmosphere was very nice as well with great music. I would probably visit again and just try another dish.

Always had a wonderful experience at this beautiful restaurant. This is my 3rd time here in past 4 months. The food is great, yummy apps, big portions of main entrees and every pasta you order, you get a take home pasta for FREE. Drinks are good too! Amazing LITs! Recently tried jambalaya – yummy! Kids love this place too. Beautiful ambience…waiting for summer to experience the patio dining.

We arrive 30min early and sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and took the time to recommend drinks even though she was supper busy with orders. Once our table was ready the manager suggested we did the outdoor seating and I could not be more happy there was a huge tree with a lot of birds singing it’s was so beautiful. My husband and I had such a great time . Definitely coming back again.

This place is really terrific! One of my favorite restaurants easy. The food is perfection, the staff is always so friendly and professional, and the atmosphere has a fantastic vibe! A slice of dessert cake is massive, share with 4 or more people! This place is perfect for a romantic date, a dinner with family, or just to go out with friends. Absolutely love the G&V!

Food was good all around (6 of us dined), but service was soooooo slow. Our server was great, but we all wondered if they are short on servers and cooks. We waited a very long time for food. Then dessert also took forever – to the point that we canceled and asked for our checks. Outdoor patio is so cute, but maybe it would have been better to sit inside?
