Okay I grew up in Bogalusa and it’s a shame Glynn’s has went down this far! I live out of state and when I do come to town and decide to eat the food I grew up on I don’t want to open my burger up to a hard burnt BLACK BUN…. I know it’s tough to find good help but toasting a bun doesn’t require a 4 year degree, the food isn’t even comparable to what it use to be! 2 burgers, 2 fry’s and a poboy with 2 drinks was $40. I wouldn’t have a problem with that if it tasted better and wasn’t hard & burnt I threw bun out at Cassidy park and the dang bird wouldn’t even touch it ….. thats BAD!

I love this place. The staff are always happy and respectful and helpful. The food isn’t cooked until you order it. You may have to wait a bit, but your food comes out hot and fresh every time. Their shakes are straight up the best in town. And you can’t convince me otherwise….Lololol

We are new to the area, we just ordered two poboys a cheese fry and onion rings and two malts. I got a hot sausage poboy and the sausage was as dry and old as dirt. The shrimp were mushy, and the fries were not cooked and they added cheese and nuked it.Four onion rings in the order. The only thing that was half decent was the supposed malts. We had to try it to find out. We definitely won’t be back. 40$ wasted.

The one in franklinton is far superior. I ordered 4 things. Sweet potato fries, a dressed chicken sandwich, cheese fries and a tea. It took 30mins to get my order, but I didn’t mind because they had a large order ahead of mine. I got home and the chicken sandwich only had cheese(which wasn’t even mentioned when I asked what dressed meant) and the cheese wasn’t melted on the fries. I called and they told me to come back. They fixed the sandwich but the fries were still not edible. Only the very top was melted. Never going there again. I’ll drive the 30mins to franklinton if it means I can actually eat the food.

My first time in the whole year I’ve been in Bogalusa. I enjoyed the Catfish poboy fully dressed with cheese, onion rings and pineapple milkshake….. very delicious!!! I’m most definitely going back and try something else..!

This is NOT the Glynn’s that I grew up with! The gravy is watery and has an odd tomato flavor to it. The fried oysters were soggy and greasy. The fountain drink was flat and they didn’t put mayo and mustard on my chilli dog like I asked for! Not to mention the girls at the window wer extremely rude and unfriendly with miserable attitudes. Sadly, I will never go back and will drive across town to Zesto from now on.

They start closing at seven fifteen for take out orders… Does franklinton do this? I called and I asked them. There is no sense in us calling up there at 7o’clock just for them to lookat the phone ring. I also called the franklinton location and I asked them was this the way they worked… They told me absolutely not! They’re supposed to take orders until closing. . I’d rather go to mcdonald’s. I called my order in almost a full hour in advance.. All I got was busy signals.. And my call went through three times. But, nobody answered.. I will not be back until they rectify this problem. It’s called lazy.
