On the way out of Reno, we decided to stop at Gloria’s Cafe. Kind of out of the way but worth a try.

While looking for new breakfast/brunch spots, my daughter and I came across this tucked away cafe for brunch before heading back to the Bay Area.

This is in an industrial area near apartments near the river. It is on street leading into the Oxbow nature study area. It is a cafe that does breakfast and lunch. It is half American diner food and half Mexican food with a lot of fusion. Food is very good with huge portions. Got 3 full breakfasts from my Gloria’s Special with take out box. Have a nice shaded patio for nice weather. Will return many times after hikes in nature area.

Our party of 4 enjoyed a BLT on Sour Dough, egg white omelet with Spenich. Adult chicken fingers and eggs Benedict. No complaints. The food was great, and the service matched the food. If paying by credit card, there is an additional fee amounting to about 4 percent. Pay cash for the best price.

Breakfast burrito was full of yummy chorizo, and tasted amazing. It was also huge. Chilaquiles were just unreal, in a flavorful sauce. Spicy salsa was so spicy and I appreciate that. Service was prompt and kind. Would recommend and we will return.

Very much enjoyed the food. Generous portions & flavorful. Sat outside under a umbrella. First time visit & I will return here. Our server was very delightful but do wish he would have followed up with us during the meal. The black beans were a nice change up from refried beans normally offered at other restaurants. Chorizo had really good flavor too.
