This place is highly underrated. The staff was really friendly and kind. The prices are amazing and you get a lot of food. And on TOP OF THAT, the food was AMAZING. I got Ugali with chicken and my bf got Ugali with fish and we absolutely loved it. Coming back again!

My absolute favorite restaurant. I’ve gone here several times and the food never disappoints! The staff is awesome and every time I go in they always strike up a conversation with me and they always recommend something new and delicious for me to try. From the moment you walk in, it’s a bit of a culture shock and it makes the experience so much more authentic. If you are in SLC this is a most have restaurant. We drive 45 minutes to this restaurant because it’s that good.

If you live in Salt Lake and haven’t tried this place, you’re missing out! It’s located on Redwood Road in a little plaza area with parking in the front. It’s a very busy place that’s always flooded with people. On one side they have a market, and on the other, the restaurant.

My wife and I stopped in tonight to order some take out and were not disappointed. The people were super friendly and got us huge, delicious meals! We also purchased sambusas which were to die for. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we are up in SLC.

They have so many variety of delicious food, just to name a few, fish, goat meat, beef, chicken, and many more delicious recipes. Hands down the best Somali restaurant in the areas. I came down here to Salt Lake City from Minneapolis and there are a lot of Somali restaurants in Minneapolis but none can be compared to Global Somali restaurant, I highly recommend anyone in the area to check this place out. You won’t be disappointed I promise. Enjoy deliciousness
