The Gladstone Dairy Flo and been a staple in our Community for over 60+ years. Our family purchased it in 2018. We take pride in our town, service with a smile means a little more to us… we are truly happy to see you and your families year after year and love to hear stories from our traveling guests. We feature indoor or outdoor seating as well as a covered pavilion in the back for those looking to escape from the sun.
We have 10 different flavors of hand dipped ice cream including 4 Mackinac fudge flavors! There is also vanilla, chocolate and twist soft serve options, malts, shakes, polars and 20+ sundaes to choose from.

I came with my parents for the first time to try the ice cream nachos. It was a really fun dessert option to try and to share. The hardest part was choosing toppings. Unfortunately, they only had two employees working the front and there were quite a few people waiting. With all of the staff shortages right now, it makes wait times a bit long. That said, they were working really hard to get orders out as quickly as possible. The dessert itself was really good and I’d definitely return. All of the weekly shake options look great and that may be on the agenda in the future.

Took 25 minutes to get our food with no one else at the restaurant! Employees were NOT friendly and made you feel like a burden when we asked about our food and then again when we went back up because something was missing! No apologies from employees after the wait. Food was alright, nothing too special but it was at least warm. We are traveling so it took a lot more time than we would have liked for food. If the wait was shorter and the service was better, we may have gotten some ice cream but did not want to anymore.

When they first open under new ownership the wife and I decided to order 2 philly steak sandwiches with no veggies on them. An hour later we received them both with veggies. Sadly it was close to closing time so we couldn’t get new ones made. The new owner made it right and gave us a gift certificate for 2 new ones. We tried once again to repeat the order of 2 philly steak no veggies. We get home with our food and open the bag to find only 1 sandwich. I called the owner and left her a voice mail explaining what happen and never received a call back. Very disappointed in this once great restaurant.
