I was told about this treasure and decided to go for a drive. It was an hour out of my way, but sooo worth it.

My family and I just love Giuseppe’s! We make it a point to dine here or order take out each time we visit. Ever since we learned about Giuseppe’s Express, it’s been our go-to. No long waits or reservations. Simple counter service with a full deli & good selection of salads. There’s a few tables/chairs to dine inside & outdoors as well. Plus, there’s plenty of Italian goodies you can purchase to cook at home. They also offer their veggie & pepperoni pizza and a few entrees to go in their take out freezer. Great option when traveling or just taking a night off & heating up good food.

Excellent service, good, fresh quality dishes along with ample portions. The sand dabs and clam chowder is my go to. They get crowded fast so go early. Across the street is a Giuseppe’s Express to pick up your pre-order take out which is convenient. You can buy ready made hot pizza and bread, sauces, packaged pasta and clam chowder to go along with other Giuseppe’s items.

Kudos to the cashier who kept her cool when a customer went off on her about a container of sauce, demanding one for free that she didn’t pay for. Kudos also to the manager who de-escalated the situation and who praised his employee for keeping her cool. I had to knock off one star for the time we waited for one pizza, over 45 minutes! :/

Hmmm…how do I rate this? My Eggplant Parmesan sandwich was fantastic. But hubby was very disappointed with his Italian sub sandwich. It does seem to look a bit dry. Took home half of the left over sandwiches for later, so maybe he can spruce it up! We also ordered a slice of pizza to share. It was very good! The service and staff was wonderful. Great looking desserts displayed which we were eyeing, the carrot cake and cheesecake. Didn’t get. But couple sat down next to us who ordered the exact same desserts we were googling over. They said it was “absolutely divine”.

Probably the BEST gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. My husband loved his regular pizza as well. Friendly service. Place is kind of small and cluttered, only a couple tables inside and a few outside tables. Delicious gelato as well. A must-go to when in Pismo

Was here for a to go order as were traveling. Be sure you check your to go order that it is all in the bag and grab utensils. I got an Italian sub, salad, and piece of meyer lemon cheesecake. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS. They have some items for sale to make your own Italian meal at home. If I lived near Gjuseppe’s you can bet I’d be back for food and to get supplies for home made dinner. I will attach some pics.

This is definitely one of the best places to eat Pizza at a very good price. We are strict vegetarians and hence checked with the girl at the counter if the pizza dough had egg in it. To our surprise, the dough didn’t have any egg which makes it perfect for any vegetarian.
