First time coming and really enjoyed it. Big portions and great flavors. The sauce for the chilaquiles is really tasty. I do want to come back to try other items on the menu. Parking is easy to find.

Been wanting to try this place out. They also own the Baja Cali Fish Tacos restaurant next door.

The cozy restaurant is very nice, clean, and crisp, and the people who serve you are very attentive. The food was good, I always ordered chilaquiles. Unfortunately, like all the restaurants, they use pre made chips. There is nothing like freshly made chips, it also needed a bit more sour cream.

First time here with my spouse and everything was delicious! We had the guacamole with pork belly appetizer and it was delicious! The avocados were fresh and just right.

Excited to try their chilaquiles and armed with a coupon, we went to Girasol for brunch. The initial interaction was slightly awkward, with no greeter or waiter in sight. We ate outside, which was fine but just a table on the sidewalk. The coffee was downright bad, tasting very weak and bland. The chilaquiles were fine, but inferior to most we’ve had; the chorizo added much of the interesting flavor. The kicker was the price; this is not a cheap or even reasonably priced brunch, easily hitting $25 per person with a drink. Adding chorizo is an absurd markup.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! What an unexpected gem! Girasol Cocina serves a delicious and hearty Mexican breakfast. HUGE portions! I got the tacos, and it took me all day to eat all three! Amazing breakfast potatoes! I usually don’t even like potatoes. Friendly staff, and our meal was out quickly. The place feels super clean, too, which I really like. It makes me trust the kitchen. I also got the sense that all of the ingredients were carefully sourced. The tortillas were perfect! ALSO- TERRIFIC COFFEE!!! I highly recommend- I will be back again!

After seeing the good reviews on this place, we decided to stop by. Extremely disappointed is an understatement. Service started off okay, however that quickly changed. Our waitress seemed to be more focused on a bigger table (mind you, our table was a party of 6) they messed up my order, brought other orders in our party incomplete. After our original waitress decided to check on us, us being half way done with our meal I pointed out what was missing and my messed up order. She just said sorry. But before she left I made sure no one in our party needed any drink refills before she went MIA again.. something she should’ve been asking in the first place. Sure enough she went missing again, waited a good 15-20min for our bill which never arrived before I went up to the cashier in the other side. Surprised with the price, disappointed by the service, food wasn’t great, out of all the places we visited during our stay this was by far the worst one, and the most expensive one.. regret taking my family there. Will not be going back.

This place is excellent. Yummy chilaquiles. Great sized portions. Kind efficient service. Great parking. Started coming here with the family and we felt like we were eating at a relatives home so full of love. It’s clean, plates are authentic tasting, and coffee cup is always kept full. Cafe de Olla is excellent, not overly sweet like some can be. (hot or on ice) Upon arrival you get these little fried tostones with salsa! Never had but great starter while you are looking over menu. I never leave reviews…but this spot is so good I want them to do good!

Traveling off the 210, this place is delicious. Easy to get to and the food is excellent. There is something for everyone, for the adults and the kids. Very authentic food, the coffee de olla, is really good. Chilaquiles were amongst the best I have ever had. Definitely coming back when in LA area or driving through.

Tastiest chilaquiles I have had in a very long time! They make their own chips which end up in front of you drenched in a delicious sauce, yet still crunchy. I ordered the Chilaquiles divorciados (i.e. 2 different sauces) with the creamy chipotle and red sauces, though next time I will probably order chilaquiles with just the chipotle because it has a creamy and smoky deliciousness that really sets off the chips. I came specifically to feed a craving for chilaquiles but there were some other appetizing dishes on the menu that I otherwise would have considered. If you want a rather large portion of delicious food, definitely make your way to Girasol!
