Traveling with The Lowing’s
Love here!

Crissy Ruiz
Hungrily looking for a bite to eat post hike. A quick Yelp search and Gipper’s popped up. Going in blindly, this place was a pleasant surprise. Packed to the brim with sports memorabilia, this place had all the makings and feels of a great local hometown place. Seated immediately and handed menus, my friend and I ordered two local brews and browsed the menu. The menu is huge. There are so many options it was hard to choose. A lot of the burgers and tasty meals are named after famous athletes. One recommendation I can definitely say would be the chicken tenders. Holy moly! I don’t typically brag about chicken but these were hot, tender, juicy, and crispy. I opted for a chicken club and my friend went with the steak. Our food was promptly served and like the tenders, equally delicious. Service here is great. Definitely looking forward to a return trip.

Great local pub with good food, friendly staff, some local / New England brews on tap and just a good atmosphere. We stopped by a few times during our visit to the area and everything was really good each time. Lady’s night was slammed! Haha. Popular place for the locals for sure.

Came by to see if they’re still popping and this burger came out so juicy I had to snap the photo.

Gipper’s has been a favorite for a number of years. I really appreciate the specials they run to mix things up. They have always been a great value with the food quality and portion size. The staff always provides excellent service.

Wow what a menu! They have specialty sandwiches named after some sports greats as well as some local legends. Great burgers and the chicken fingers are worth going for alone. Too bad I don’t live closer is all I have to say. Great job guys!

First time. Went at 4 pm to avoid crowds. Bar full. Rest of place about quarter full. Place was clean and noise level low. T.v. on but no sound. Waitress initially attentive. App onion rings standard Sisco came out hot and fast. Main meals shortly after. Burger and fries. Burger Cooked perfectly. Fries highlight. Hot. Chicken parm a let down. Sauce thin and runny. Spaghetti cold. Chicken overcooked. Waited for Waitress to reappear to at least get hot Spaghetti. No luck . Finally after burger done—-about 20 minutes.. Tracked down another Waitress got box and asked for bill. Waitress said ours had to go out side to get supplies. Doesn’t quite explain long absence…but Waitress said shortstaffed. She had been at other tables and had cleaned off other parties that left…so. Bit over all disappointed. Know it is quite popular so maybe an off afternoon.
