Hi, I’m Tom Powers and my wife, Caroline and I are the new owners. The restaurant has been a destination for locals looking for fine Italian food and great customer service since 1991. We have 55 years of combined experience in the retail food and restaurant industry. Got to catch up with family at Giovanni’s! It was not busy, but the servers still took their time to do refills. Great food!!!! I had shrimp Alfredo lunch special, which was almost as big as the regular plate with a better price!

I give it three stars because; even though the women who work there are nice, they can be more hospitable. Smile more. They’re very slow, and don’t come back for a while. There’s not many tables there and I’ve seen at least four women. There’s under 15 tables there. Last two times we’ve been there, it’s not been full, but our server don’t come back for 10 mins at a time. Didn’t even leave napkins. We had to ask for everything. Just give us condiments, don’t wait for us to ask. Second, the wait time for the food is bad. I know foods gotta be made. I know if we want it made right, it takes time, but it’s almost 30 mins waiting time for 2 plates of food. Other than that, the atmosphere there needs a major makeover. Very quiet and dull. The music is way low. They need to turn up that music and put some things on the walls. Some plants and photos or something. I will say the food is excellent tasting. Hot, fresh, and tasty. A few things were a little bland, but everywhere has it’s own way of cooking. Their food is marvelous. Tastes authentic Italian.

My wife found this spot a while back. We order for pick up since it’s quite a ways from where we live. Went yesterday, and saw their upgrade. The aesthetics make the place look a lot more open along with the expansion. The food is always tasty. We tend to have to wait a little bit longer, but it’s because they get so much business. It’s a good problem for them to have. It’s indicative of how good they are.

Great experience at Giovanni’s. Loved the Spinich Lasagna, it was excellent. Every thing was prepared and seasoned perfectly. The best part of the evening was the owner Tom, singing. He has a great voice and an amazing repertoire of songs. Pricing is much less than you would expect for a such a fine meal.
