We are longtime customers of Giovanni’s. It’s always the place we stop at for lunch or dinner on our way to vacation in central Oregon. While we were in the restaurant today waiting for our pizza a car crossed Highway 22 and crashed into our parked vehicle (the driver had fallen asleep at the wheel and miraculously, no one was injured). Our car was seriously damaged and we were on our way to enjoy a week long vacation. The owner and staff at Giovanni’s were incredibly supportive and helpful. They even gave us a gift certificate for a future visit. Hours later after returning home, I’m finally able to enjoy their delicious pizza. Incredibly thankful for their hospitality! Please support this wonderful pizzeria in Mill City!

The owner was making our order and made us feel at home. We came in after a long day at the lake. Servers made us feel like we were at home being served pizza, drinks and recommendations for ice cream amazing! Family friendly! You can see the pizza being made in front of you. That’s how fresh pizza was.

Growing up, it was my family tradition to stop at Giovanni’s on our way home from our cabin or camping. Now, I get to take my kids there to carry on the tradition. We love their breadsticks and pizza. It is all made to order, fresh and hot. The staff are always friendly. Keep in mind that food is made to order, so it takes a little time, especially if it is a busy weekend.

Fabulous breadsticks! I had them cold the first time and loved them. Driving through this time I wanted them piping hot! So good! How do you get the cheese and the bread to meld so seamlessly? Magic?

If you’re in or going through Mill City you should stop at Giovanni’s. The food was good on all fronts but the bread sticks with meat are amazing!! You should order more than you think you want. Once you try them you will want more.

The quality of the pizza continues to be fantastic and worth an hour’s drive. But the prices have risen and $29.99 for a small one topping is just too high. Unless you want to spend $100 for your family’s meal, there are nearly as good options for half the price in Salem.
