This is a great pizzeria! I got the stuffed pizza, not stuffed crust. This thing is huge, tasty, and worth the price. I’ll recommend it to anyone visiting Hornell, NY. If you need to feed a few people or have some for later Stop Here First. I guess you can say it is the reviewers choice.

We ordered three varieties of subs. All were excellent. Portions were large. You won’t go hungry with these subs. If their pizzas are the same quality, they’ll have a customer for life! Customer service over the phone was excellent. Phone was answered promptly, order taker was fast and knowledgeable.

Ordered Large pizza two toppings and two dozen wings.. This is our last time ever ordering from Giovanni’s. Pizza was 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 was extra cheese. The pizza was to be all pepperoni and all extra cheese.. Wings were over cooked and dried out..

A really good fish fry. Crispy on the outside and NOT soggy w/cooking oil. A generous portion served w/more than enough curly fries. The salad bar was the real draw for us (possibly the only one in town). We didn’t try the pasta salad or the 3-bean salad.

Love going to Giovanni’s when I come back home for my yearly visits. The food is super delicious. One of my favorites is the eggplant with spaghetti and I get a meatball too. The pizza’s, calzones and subs are excellent to. Come check it out for yourselves you won’t be disappointed.

Wasnt a fan, especially when food came out of the kitchen over 30 minutes apart… chicken parm was ridiculously small for a “full” portion, wings were dry and barely hot when the finally got to us… the only thing that was good was the stromboli… the tables were disgustingly dirty! Bits of food and crumbs all over them! We were very disappointed! Not worth the $114 price tag at all! Probably not going to repeat the dining experience there…

The town of Hornell doesn’t have a lot of the big fast food franchises and that’s good because it allows some of the old locals to remain. Giovanni’s is one of those that you can always count on to stay open after 8, even on weekends, for take in, dine in and delivery. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly and engaged with their customers, and the food is delicious.

I went in for a bite to eat and was told there’s no service to order from counter. So I ordered their rumored cheesey bread with some chicken fingers and ranch/marinara. The chicken fingers were under cooked. There was only a nasty runny blue cheese dressing in the bag and instead of cheesey bread they gave me 3 nasty pieces of garlic bread which were all bland and old. Then when I called to mention there was a mistake and I was blown off and hung up on.

Pizza was alright the spaghetti was bland marinara and noodles and the chicken parmesan was super hard baked cheese with chicken in the middle. Worse part got buffalo wings too and there wasn’t any buffalo on the wings there was some red sauce at the bottom of the styrofoam they gave but it was just cooked wings horrible experience waited forever for it too. The staff was nice food quality wasn’t wouldn’t recommend at all.
