After browsing nearby options, we decided on Gino’s based on pictures and reviews and we’re so glad we did. Pizza was amazing, tons of toppings and fairly priced. Chef salad was huge and lots of toppings, homemade Italian was delicious. Fair amount of parking, it’s a small shop. Some outdoor and indoor seating. Small bar available. Vast menu, again great pricing. Staff was friendly and efficient. Next time we’re in Portsmouth we will absolutely stop in again and try some other things. Check them out! Local businesses like this deserve to thrive.

We read the reviews and decided to try it out. I’m from Brooklyn and have been searching for a local pizza shop. I don’t know what’s the deal with pizza down here claiming to be like NY pizza. Have they tried NY pizza at-tall? The cheese should stretch when you bite the slice. It didn’t look bad but it doesn’t stretch like real mozzarella cheese at all. This place let us down so the search continues. Is there a sale on cheap cheese or something!? It wasn’t the worst pizza but probably won’t be back. Maybe you’ll like it.

Nice staff and pretty good pizza. Overall better than some not the best. I can recommend them for pizza and spaghetti and meatballs and suggest giving them a try.

This place is so delicious and the staff was very kind. My friends and I are here on a Saturday and even though they had other customers our food arrived within minutes! Two pizza slices and a drink only costs $4.99. This place is amazing!

The place is small, sure. But everything else about it is phenomenal. The food always comes out fresh, the little hometown atmosphere, and the owners integration with the customers is top notch. This place has exceeded the expectations set based from experiencing other pizza shops around the area and it just brings me back to my childhood. I never leave here hungry or wanting more.

This has easily become my favorite pizza spot! Ever since I moved here from NYC I’ve been searching for my go to spot and I’m so thankful I came across Gino’s. I drive from Hampton to get this amazing pizza, and the pepperoni roll and Gino sticks are the absolute best!! Keep up the great work!

Just arrived in Portsmouth and decided on pizza. Found this on my phone as it was just a couple miles from our motel. Got there and it was just a whole on the wall restaurant. Asked for a menu and was given a paper “flyer ‘esque” ” menu. On it, it had listed 2 large 1 topping pizza for 27.99 I believe. After ordering 2 large pepperoni pizzas the total was 40 dollars. I asked about the price on the menu and was explained to me that the price was for a returning guest with the flyer. If I would have known that I would have only ordered 1 pizza. The owner did give me a complimentary 2 liter….. The flavor was ok. New York pizza it was not. No where near bad, BUT…. Not the new York flavor and greatly disappointed about being duped on the price. However the owner was very friendly.

My family and I stumbled upon Gino’s after a visit to the Children’s museum. It was a short walk away. We got such a warm welcome on entering and the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly. They even gave my daughter a storybook (which we promptly forgot and she’s still disappointed about). The food was also very good; we got the gyro, burger and pepperoni slice. Prices were reasonable. I would recommend anyone stop by whenever they’re in the area

As soon as we walked it, it was warm welcomes and smiles. We order a 16” pizza with wings and everything was nice fresh, hot and delicious!!! Y’all want a old school Italian pizza. This is the spot for it!! Will be coming back to try out their pasta.
