We started coming to Gino’s a few months ago on a recommendation, and we have been back almost weekly now. Their menu is much smaller than other Italian restaurants, but all of their food is perfected and out of this world. They don’t post that soup is a special, but on certain days there is soup and all of them are amazing and homemade. Their garlic bread is so toasty and well seasoned, and their sandwiches come on toasted bread that are great as well. Their Alfredo is finished with salt and cheese and is addictive. We have never had a bad dish, go here and it will quickly become a favorite

The best in the entire area. The only place where I know the food is fresh and consistently delicious every time! Old school, home made, real Italian food! And the nicest people around!!!! Why cook? I get their meals to go for the week!

Gino’s is hands down, the best classic Italian restaurant in Dutchess County. There’s no equal. Sorry, not sorry. Every dish that appears to be simple isn’t and is refined in both depth and flavor. The staff is wonderful with father and son still running the business. some favorites are shrimp oreganata, linguine with red clam sauce and the chicken parm. Mozzarella sticks are made in house and are the best you’ll ever experience. Do yourself a favor and visit. You will not be disappointed.

Pay attention to all the reviewers here that would give Gino’s 8+ stars, describe it as “old school”, and worth the wait. Please do not confuse it with an urelated Gino’s Pizza (also mistakenly reviewed here) that won’t accept reservations and is cafeteria-style. Different establishment! We have enjoyed lovingly made family dinners for 18 years and although we live close to an hour away, still make the trip back to Gino’s when we can. Prepare for a wait. Enjoy a glass of wine while you do. It’s worth it!!! Mangia!

Amazing hidden gem. Tucked into a plaza on Rt 9 across from Alto Music. Calamari melted in your mouth. So fresh. The penne ala vodka was delicious. Service was great. You will have to wait because food is made fresh. Have patience it’s worth the wait. Debbie was so friendly and knowledgeable. We will be going back to try the pizza. So glad we came upon this place. Homemade mozzarella sticks. Worth every penny. Staff were available and nice

Very disappointed with the interaction we had earlier today when trying to place an order for tomorrow. We called and a woman answered with an attitude. When inquiring about placing the order she said I had to call after 3:30 to speak with someone who takes care of that. then she told me to hold on, so i did , she came back to the phone and said they couldn’t help me, we wanted to order a tray of lasagna and chicken parm and wings , so we called Goodfella’s in red oaks mill and they accommodated us with no issue’s and we pick it up at 5 on friday. we had heard good things about Gino’s but we won’t be trying them again , and yes we know , it’s hard to get good help these days.
