I don’t care how far out of your way you need to travel to get to Gino’s but do it! You absolutely owe it to yourself. Gino’s is positioned at the end of a U-shaped plaza. It was just the coolest, eclectic little joint I’ve visited in quite a while. From the decor to the memorabilia to the bathtub behind the bar filled with canned spirits. I ordered the lunch, cheese steak with provolone, peppers and onions along with tots. The cheese steak was full of flavorful tender meat and the tots were perfectly cooked. I was greeted by Josh, the owner of Gino’s, with menu in hand, no more than three steps into his restaurant. I chose to sit at the bar and within minutes, had submitted my order to Sarah (I apologize if my spelling is incorrect), she was hopping from bar to kitchen and back like a pro! I had a great music/concert conversation with fellow patron Mark. I felt like I was in an episode of Cheer’s “where everybody know your name”. Gino’s WILL be on my itinerary every time in Syracuse, I owe it to myself! Thanks!

Their half sandwich , fries, and fountain drink is a great value for a quick lunch. Sandwich was delicious, French fries I asked for well done and they were hot and perfect. Staff was fun and delightful. Diners were a mixed crowd of couples, family ❤️ with littles and bar peoples….on a Saturday at lunchtime.

Counter service with a full bar, food is brought to your table. Everything was great, the hot peppers had some kick, the bread was not soggy, service was good. We will return.

I really like this place! A bit different, but really good food, really nice people and a fun, relatively inexpensive dinner! The only negative is that it can be a bit loud. But hey, they have pink “Barbie” sauce, right?

We we’re on a motorcycle trip from Indiana to Maine and made a detour to stop here for supper at the end of the day after riding almost 600 miles just because their Facebook page had popped up last year as a suggestion. I’m glad it did because the service was excellent and the food was even better! The atmosphere inside is very cool. I’ll be stopping there from now on whenever I’m in central New York

In town from North Carolina, visiting family, I was looking for some nice local places to get some great food…Gino’s did not disappoint! The staff was very welcoming and friendly, great ambiance in the restaurant, and my steak & onion sandwich with jalapeno poppers were excellent. Definitely worth a visit…and more than a few revisits!
