I’ve said this before: Sometimes you find the best pizza in places that look a tad shabby. A large Neapolitan pepperoni pie and an order of fries were just right for a party of four. The pizza came out very fast. Loved the flavors. The fries were essentially standard fare, but hot and crispy. They were also served quickly. Pricing was quite fair. Glad I tried it.

Outstanding establishment. Great pizza and much more. My orders have ALWAYS arrived on time and out of the oven hot. A busy place means good business. Good business means satisfied customers. My only negative is that you cannot order online. Often times I do not feel like speaking to someone and a viable website you can order from would only benefit both business and customer more so.

Arrived at 4:55 pm. Meet by 2 different staff people asking for my order, then walked away. Went to counter to place my order, the girl looked to the person behind me who just walked in and asked her for her order. She then looked at me and took my order. She gave me my receipt and told me to sign. She turned to the person behind me to get her order taking the pen. Order placed I sat down to wait. I waited 25 minutes, then was asked if I was waiting on a fish dinner. I said not a pepperoni pizza. He turned around and pulled a box from the bottom of a stack of 5 or so pizzas and handed it to me. I asked how long it had been ready for and he said 10 to 15 minutes! They then laughed as I left with my cold pizza. Large air bubble in the crust that caused it to burn. Pizza was ok, sauce tasted like tomato sauce from a can. will never return and will never recommend this place to anyone!

I have been a HUGE fan of Gino & Joe’s B’ville for nearly 30 years. My family and I have tried almost everything on their menu. One of our FAVORITES is the Campagnola White specialty pizza. However, the last 2 times we have ordered it, the crust was soggy. Last night, we ordered it again and specifically requested that the crust be crispy. When we began to eat it, we found the crust wasn’t even cooked all the way through and parts we “doughy”. We ended up throwing away more than half of the pizza. This will be my last time ordering from Gino & Joes. 🙁

So Gino & Joe’s has been my go-to for take out in B’ville. Sometimes it is hit and miss and I usually let it go, but tonight’s order was unacceptable. I ordered a Chicken Parm dinner. The dinner consists of 90% pasta, and a tiny, very thin piece of chicken that was very tough to eat, as it was way over cooked. As you can see in the photos, it’s mostly pasta, the tiny thin piece of chicken, and all the breading and cheese from the chicken. I use to order a LOT from them, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering anything else again from them. I’ve gotten Chicken Parm dinners from other locations that are way better in quality, quantity and value. I am not sure what’s going on with with their hit and misses, but this is a miss that I won’t be missing anymore, nor will I recommend Gino & Joe’s to anyone else.
