The menu has a ton of options but everything we ordered was terrible and sad (see pics). The salad was old, had wilted lettuce, and was inedible. The hot food wasn’t hot either. The Chicken Fajita wrap had unseasoned cold chicken and unmelted Mexican blend cheese straight from a bag. Everything had clearly been pulled out of a fridge that it had been sitting in for too long. Would most certainly not recommend.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a G-man, but the food is still as good as it ever was. I had the Italian sub with fries. My wife raves that they have the best French onion soup and gets it every time she’s there. They were a little under staffed as it took our waitress a while to come back to us at times, but was very friendly. Overall, a good experience and would definitely go back when in the Carlisle area.

I suppose it’s ok. Not a bad option for drinks, but definitely not my first choice for a meal. The updated menu basically removed everything that was worthy of being ordered. So I settled for spinach dip and seasoned fries. The dip was hearty with huge chunks of artichokes, but not very tasty. The fries were decent. The service was great.

Ground beef used for nachos lacked chili powder, cayenne, and paprika. Had sugary taste resembling sloppy Joe. Cheese turned into a frisbee. Desperately needs cream cheese added to a cheese like that. Nachos were stale. Overall 2/10. And this was an 8:45pm meal. No excuse really to charge upwards or $16.00 for such foods. The recipe is terrible. Don’t know if any line cook could have saved it.

Good choices, great taste, great wait staff, obviously not fast food timing, lovely building and decor. Hopefully just the particular day but it was SO loud you couldn’t carry on a conversation at any level. It was incredible that the waitress got all the orders right. But she did! I got a headache which is why I only gave it a 4. Parking is at a premium but there is a multistory parking garage within easy walking distance and everyone in our group was 70+ .

Great location, great detail in the style of decor, feels like a hometown bar with great atmosphere and everyone is friendly. The music was lively and the food was great with so many different kinds of menu options. It was hard to choose. Good prices on food/drinks. Lots to look at and it takes more than 1 visit to get a good chance to see all that is there. Some friends who have been going there for years recommended it to us while we stayed in town overnight and it was a blast. It was right near our hotel and the main shopping center, perfect for a Friday night adventure. We’ll be coming back here for sure!

I ordered a Mushroom & Swiss burger (I was not asked how I would like the burger to be cooked). I did ask that sauteed onions be added to the burger. As for the french fries, I asked for them to be “out of the deep fryer hot”.

Not even worthy of 1 star. French onion soup was disgusting. It was so salty and the black seasoning in bottom was enough to make one vomit. Returned for chili which was just ok. The nachos would have been ok had the little bit of ground beef not have been bitter tasting and the toppings were too much I guess trying to hide what was underneath. Service was mediocre at its best! Definitely will NOT ever return…at least to this location. Do NOT recommend!!
