I have a soft spot for small diners, and Gina’s hits it. I happened to be there on Thursday, which is the catfish special day. The catfish was delightful; starting with 2 large fillets, and since it was the special, a third showed up 2 minutes later. Two was enough, but I managed all three.

First time eating at Gina’s Family Restaurant and I must say the choice that I made was delicious! I ordered French toast, scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and a cup of coffee. I could have had more than what was given only because I love French toast, I love bacon, shoot… let’s be real, I love to eat. I love it when someone treats me and tells me there is NO LIMIT

I’ve been eating there several years. Today, I ordered a barbecue sandwich and onion rings over the phone. When I shtowed up, they said they had no barbecue. They wasted over an hour of my time. The lady said she attempted to call me. When they figured out they had no barbecue. Unfortunately, I don’t sit around the phone constantly. I feel they never should have taken an order for something they didn’t have. Some people should not be allowed to answer the phone. No apology, just excuses I’ll not go back. Many other good places to eat in Danville.
